Very nice restaurant to try authentic Indian food right in the city center. I went there on a Monday evening, so the place was not super crowded.
I had the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was a great choice. The chicken was tender and the seasoning superb, with a wonderful spicy touch. Additionally, they serve this dish with side potatoes, which were absolutely tasty due to the herbs. The freshly baked garlic Naan bread was very good—I even had to order a second one!
The staff was friendly and the food came rather quickly. Prices are what you can generally expect in Munich

Have walked by this place every time I visit Munich… Made a reservation for a Friday evening and was pleasantly surprised. Reading other reviews on here, the restaurant is quite busy so reservations are essential on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings. Servers are very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. I spoke to a friend of mine, whose Indian and he said that it’s authentic. OneNote for non-German speakers, the menu is in German. We had the lamb Tika, the lamb biryani, and the cheese naan. I would definitely return.

The biryani was incredibly flavorful and the chicken tandoori was juicy and succulent. Friendly, attentive staff and a clean, spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. A fantastic dining experience overall. Decor is great.
Parking available but it’s tricky.

Coming from someone who has come from the Netherlands, this is one of the best place to have Indian food : The Atmosphere, the staff, their courtesy, their politeness and how they make you feel at home. The food is as per your taste buds, takes you back home and makes you feel good but makes you miss mom’s food as well. This place is an emotion. Do look out for Jameel to give you the best suggestions on what to order and what are the best dishes/drinks to have. This place is a must visit.

Many of my friends from India recommended this place, and I can see why. I love it. One of the best Indian restaurants in Munich.
My personal highlight: TIKKA TAKA TAK!

I’ve been in Germany for a while and I’ve been to some Indian restaurants in my time here. This restaurant has absolutely exceeded my expectations, both with the quality of service and the food. Authentic Indian experience, stellar service. Our waiter was Jameel and he was always attentive and took excellent care of us throughout the entire meal. He made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us regularly without being intrusive. His service really made the experience enjoyable. I would strongly recommend you try this restaurant once and give it an honest try. Top pick in Munich.

Really nice food! Definitely recommend. Staff are super nice and welcoming. I was there around noon, and the restaurant had lots of people – which shows how many likes it there.

Revisited the restaurant after some time. The starters were enjoyable, with the Palak Chaat standing out as a highlight. Unfortunately, the Gobhi Manchurian was disappointing.

For the main course, we had the Lamb Dewani, Black Daal (Daal Makhani), and Chicken Biryani—all of which were excellent in flavor and preparation. However, the experience ended on a low note with the chai, which was served cold and lacked taste.

Service continues to be disorganized, just like our previous visit. Our main course arrived before the starter plates were cleared, and it was quite difficult to get anyone’s attention when we wanted the bill.

The atmosphere remains lively and vibrant, and the place is usually full, so making a reservation is essential.

Overall, it’s a good restaurant with great food, but the service needs serious improvement to match the quality of the cuisine.

We stopped by this Indian restaurant just for some drinks, as we weren’t hungry at the time — and we’re so glad we did! The drinks were absolutely delicious, refreshing, and full of flavour. What really made the visit special was the wonderful staff: they were incredibly helpful, warm, and smiling the entire time, which made us feel truly welcome. Even though we didn’t eat, the overall atmosphere and hospitality left a great impression on us. We’d definitely love to come back for a full meal next time!

It was a nice dining experience, we went to Bindaas so many times. This kind of street Indian food is really impressive, so many tasty starters. We liked the most: Papri Chaat, Chilly Chicken and Gobi Manchurian, and also fair prices.
Nice location, close to Marienplatz, but it is better to reserve a table in advance.
