Been coming to Bincho for around 6 or 7 years now, and we are always left very satisfied by the food and the experience. All the dishes are simple, well executed and very delicious!
On this visit the highlights were the sea bream special and the lamb chops, everything else was also great but these were the stand out.
The rest of the food we had was edamame to start, the skewers were pork belly, chicken thigh, quail egg and chicken hearts and the prawn special and the remaining dishes were the Chicken karage and kimchi rice (not photographed).
The staff were lovely too, thank you!

First time here for me and i wasn’t disappointed.The food we had was all freshly prepared and is served tapas style, as and when each dish is ready.
Good menu choice, reasonably priced. Good alcohol choice also.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Don’t forget to book as it’s a small restaurant and it’s busy..
Would I go again ? Yes !

One of the best names I’ve had in months (maybe years). Every single dish was delicious, the service was excellent (friendly and helpful), the sake range was incredible, and the price was very reasonable for the quality. They also had a vegan menu for my partner, which had some great options.

Amazing little joint, flavourful foods and our servers were quick and super attentive! The pork belly yakitori specifically was me and my boyfriend’s favourite dish, as well as the miso walnut brownie with matcha ice cream. Insane flavour!

Legitimately one of the best Japanese meals I’ve ever had.
Beautiful, succulent meats, with fabulous garlic rice. Just exceptional.

Lovely meal, quick and nice service from all the waitresses. The chicken meatball yakitori was lovely, loved the pork belly, and the shishito peppers. Also recommend the aubergine. Overall was a good experience I would definitely come back! Only thing I wasn’t very happy with was how cold it got, because the door just didn’t close properly and its winter. Anything else I have no complaints about. Well done to the chefs.

I think this might just be the best restaurant in Brighton & Hove.
Informal dining at its best. Every single thing on the menu is made with care and precision. Super fresh. Super tasty. Staff are brilliant. The whole feel of the place is superb. Fantastic value for money.

The food was delicious and we really enjoyed it. The staff were quite busy, so one item we didn’t order was added to the bill by mistake, but it was quickly corrected when we mentioned it. Hopefully next time the service can be a bit more organised.
