I made the reservation and then read reviews. I was starting to wonder if I’d made a mistake. The outdoor area was packed when we arrived so it is popular. We got a great window view of the lake. The food was very good and the wine was very goid too. We very much enjoyed our early mothers day dinner. I found the service to be good VS. many of the reviews. The main reason I gave 4 stars is I agree the prices are rather high. But these type of hotels tend to over price food. We had the seafood risotto and N.Y. Steak and a Ceaser salad. All were tasty.

Wonderful location with beautiful view of the water. Went on a Wed night to celebrate early birthday for my husband. The dinner was delicious. We ordered scallops and the black cod. I loved the scallops. Ordered a bottle of Riesling and it was delicious. Wonderful dinner experience.

Server was very nice, view is very nice. However, I was very underwhelmed by the food. My risotto was quite bland, the “dungeoness crab” was basically non-existent. The steak was quite dry and way over-salted. The place isn’t cheap. I don’t frequent places like this, special occasions only. What a waste of money… The deserts were okay but they should double the quantity of ice cream. I hope they read reviews and adapt. I will not be returning.

The location of this place is great, located right on the water, with fantastic views of Lake Washington. I was able to get a table on the patio on a great sunny day. The service was fantastic. Jaimee was attentive and did an amazing job of anticipating my needs, while the restaurant produced great food and drinks. Overall a great restaurant experience, with really good vibes.

The good and the bad: First, the good: I had the Salmon entree and it was excellent. Cooked perfectly. We had the mussels as a starter and they were pretty good as well. The bad: My wife had the Pork Tenderloin and it was overcooked. The rest of her plate was pretty much unremarkable. Our waiter was a seasoned one and did a pretty good job but during the middle and end of our meal was not available as much as you would normally expect. The restaurant was a bit under 50% occupied. The thing that bothered us the most was that there was an automatic 18% gratuity applied to the bill. We had read about this when learning about the restaurant. But, the tip was factored using the cost of our meals and the tax together. That’s a big no no. The tip really came closer to 23%. I would consider myself a good tipper and when all was factored in this evening, I would have tipped in the 15%-18% range (probably 18%). The restaurant’s tip was a fair amount percentage wise than we would have desired to tip. The tip should be our decision based on the level of service (TIPS: “To Insure Prompt Service). I know the difference was only a few dollars but this same math would be applied to all patrons regardless of the service. We will not be back.

This was a nice place with a good window view of the lake. The service was excellent and the cocktails were delicious. It was our anniversary, and our waiter treated us to dessert on the house. I truly appreciated that they made it special for us.

Awesome food! We ordered a dish we didn’t like but the waiter got us the ahi which was perfect and didn’t charge for the other meal even tho we ate some of it. Great atmosphere and the waiters really take pride in their work and are really knowledgeable! We will definitely come back for another special occasion (over 50 mile drive)!

So the food was good, but not great and the decor was a cut above Denny’s but really outdated. However, the bill came with an automatic 18% “gratuity” and a mysterious 3% “surcharge.” The latter is not the Seattle tax on everything that moves, that was separate. So I am forced to pay a 21% “gratuity” that I didn’t know was coming. So this place gets a low rating for abusing their customers. I mean what do you do? Complain in front of your guests after dinner? So they know they are using you. So let’s recap. Good food, old retro décor and abusing the customer. Don’t go here because they don’t care about you.
Update. They called me the next day to tell my that my reservation for that day for 3:45 PM wouldn’t work since they don’t open until 5:00 PM. I told them it didn’t matter since I had been there already and had no idea what they were talking about.

Went here for mothers day a few weeks back with my daughters and had the loveliest brunch!
Delicious mimosas, a colorful fruit plate, and entrees cooked to perfection.
My younger daughter was a little miffed that the plates were smaller than say, The Cheesecake Factory, haha, but it was tasty and healthy – exactly what we needed!
I have been here with my Husband, too, and their Halibut is fantastic.
