Reviews
They also have an outdoor patio area, which is more popular during the summer. For breakfast, I chose the Eggs Benedict with a side of fruit and added avocado, and honestly, it was very good. The eggs were cooked perfectly and every part of it was nice although I wish the ham would’ve been a cooked a bit more. The only downside is the resort fees add to the price, but if you are staying at the hotel, it is a really nice option and worth it in my opinion.
Great ambiance. Feels nice and cozy.
Great service. The bartenders are all super friendly and the staff are all very nice.
The food is really delicious and the drinks are great. Can’t wait to come back .
Garlic Parmesan fries: they were decent – not enough garlic.
Crispy Brussels sprouts: this was the best dish of the night. The Brussels were well cooked, crispy, and also a bit sweet which was perfect!
Chios and jalapeño queso: the queso was alright but the jalapeño bomb sauce was surprising very delicious and creamy. The chips were fresh and crispy thankfully.
Angel hair pasta: decent dish – too many tomatoes but tasty cheese.
Cauliflower steak: very well cooked and seasoned! The potato puree was creamy and the broccolini well complemented it.
Bread and butter: complementary bread and butter was the perfect starter. The sour dough bread was soft on the inside and slightly harder on the outside. Butter was a bit too creamy though.
Overall, that was a solid location with delicious food.
16oz ANGUS RIB-EYE:
Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just how we like it. It came with broccolinis which were sautéed and delicious. The baked potato was ok, nothing extraordinary.
ANGEL HAIR PASTA:
Surprisingly pretty good. Right amount of garlic, tomato, parsley, basil, and olive oil. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that they added goat cheese to it…which was unnecessary.
FRIED CALAMARI:
It was over fried and salty. The calamari was very chewy. I do not recommend.
DRINKS:
Lake Arrowhead Pale Ale – my husband loved it, he had three.
Old-fashioned – ok.
SERVICE/AMBIANCE: AMAZING
My husband and I stayed at the resort and noticed the restaurant during check-in. We decided to try it out and didn’t realize we needed reservations. Luckily, it wasn’t super busy and the manager was able to give us a table. Our hostess/waitress (Ana/Ava) was so friendly, attentive, and had such a great vibe to her that I had to let her manager know the amazing customer service she provided to us.
We came in for lunch at 3:00 pm and didn’t receive our food until 4:05 pm — over an hour later. We also had Christmas Eve dinner booked at 7:30 pm at the same restaurant, and after waiting so long for lunch, the idea of coming back again and potentially waiting another hour for a holiday dinner was impossible.
During that entire hour, we were only given chips and salsa, which somehow also took an excessive amount of time. There was no apology, no explanation — just an indifferent “your food is not ready yet,” followed by an attitude of eat it or leave.
No acknowledgment, no accountability, no care — especially unacceptable on Christmas Eve.
Extremely disappointing!
We will never return.
