I have been a fan of this place of this place since I was a kid and have brought so many friends here over the years. My more recent trips have had a few years between them, but the food is amazing EVERY time. The roast beef really is amazing, especially with “sauce” (I don’t accept any other toppings!). There’s sauce in EVER bite. I’ve had roast beef at places closer to me over the years and they just leave me wanting Billy’s! The French fries are my absolute favorite too! Staff is always friendly and the customers that sit inside are always a cast of characters.

As a visitor to this area I saw Roast Beef all over the place. My friend took me here for a sandwich to eat at the airport. I got a large from the choice of sizes. And it same with lots of roast beef. After I read about this local culinary treat I realized I should have been brave and gotten the barbeque sauce, mayonaise and cheese. Without it was delicious, but would have been better. They do a brisque business.

Once a hot spot is losing its valor
This honestly used to be my go to for a roast beef sandwich. Now I’d rather travel to Liberty or Bella’s. The roast beef is chewy now. Lacking sauce, you need packets of ketchup with your meal, bathroom is dirty, you order to sit in and wait for your drink with your meal. I hate to see a fantastic place go, but at this rate I’m fixing them 2 years. I gave more stars because the fish plate is still good.

Was in the area and felt like having a roast beef sandwich. Service was quick, staff were kind and the food came out in a few minutes. One of the better roast beef sandwiches I’ve had in the state. Most people who dined in had seafood so that must’ve been good as well. Prices were a little high but otherwise definitely check it out if you’re craving roast beef.

I usually enjoy getting lunch here. I do love the specials that they have. It was cool when I walked in, but then got warm. On a 90 degree day, the AC wasn’t on that string. I ate inside and there is only one fan. I got the fish and chips and in the past, I have received a lot more food. I ordered it with all onion rings. I got a few onion rings and five very small pieces of fish. The onion rings were thick, some smaller than others. It was okay. The customer service is always good, but I could have gone to Liberty Bell in Melrose and for five dollars more, got enough food for two meals. They served it in a to go box which surprised me. Liberty Bell served their food on a plate and is very liberal with their food. The food was served hot. I have gotten roast beef sandwiches which were really big and delicious. I do like their prices and feel like it’s fair.

The roast beef sandwich I ordered 3 way like always much less roast beef more like a bread sandwich so much mayo it made the sandwich Slop stew gross even the onion roll was very dark brown and dry the worst roast beef sandwich ever oh and no cheese I called to let them know the kid wouldn’t let me talk without interrupting me with excuses it was worse then the sandwich buyers beware’

Cute place. Moist melt in your mouth roast beef. Sweet was staff that brought our order out to us.
