I have bought crawfish from this place twice, and each time I had about a pound to a pound in a half of crawfish heads with no tails like they had already been eaten, and the crawfish were very small. I spent at least $40-$60 on these crawfish. I won’t be buying here again.

So glad I stopped and found this Gem of a place. I got the GUMBO(CUP), SAUSAGE LINK, AND GATOR. everything was literally great! Flavors were on point, nothing overcooked for under, literally everything was worth getting. I would recommend trying it out if you happen to be around the area.

Just stopped by for 4lbs cooked crawfish. SO VERY DISAPPOINTED! I have been several times thru out the years and it’s been great. Today 5-29-2022 530pm …they were so bad! They tasted Old and dirty, with a lot of them already dead before cooking (Straight tails). They also seemed like lower grade crawfish, with weeds included. So sad!! At 7.00 lb I expect good crawfish, clean and fresh. This is the first time I didn’t ask for a sample. I should have known when I saw the guy smoking a cigarette while cooking, I should of just left.

Billy’s and the people working there have always been super helpful and in a good mood. I picked up a 29″ bag of raw crawfish and I’d say about 28 1/2″ made it. You always expect to lose some but this batch lost less than I expected. The craws we’re really clean,I only had to rinse them 2-3 times. Great product and people!

The shrimp egg rolls were yummy!
They were out of gumbo by 6pm on Friday, so I got the swamp stew but it was a bit salty for my liking. Definitely needed rice to go with it to combat the saltiness.

These folks are awesome. Everything on the menu is good. You can call them days before Friday and they will accommodate you if reasonable. Mr. Billy is a Guru and don’t mind sharing food ideas. Hands down Billy’s has the best crawfish. Other crawfish stands are close by that do not even compare. Billy is one of the most hard-working guys out there and does his best to make sure all of his customers are taken care of. Even with the high prices everyone has seen, especially in the last two years, Billy does his best to bring you the best-flavored crawfish at the most reasonable price. If you haven’t tried his egg rolls or boudin, you’re missing out!
