Love coming here. One of the best in town. Food is always perfectly cooked. Really enjoyed the corned beef and hash! Coffee is top notch. The servers are always so friendly and welcoming.
The atmosphere is nothing to write home about, but that’s not why we like these diners.
One complaint may be that the bathroom needs more attention. A couple times it’s been a bit on the filthy side.
Overall we like it here and we’ll keep coming.
The place was overcrowded I only got a spot to sit since I went only with my baby. I was not given silverware but I seen the regulars got the best treatment, I’ve never seen that before because how are you going to continue to get new regulars.
The food was not great at all. I got a waffle that was not crispy and kinda gooey in the middle. The sausage was just okay and I also got eggs that were cooked perfectly as what I wanted, but they tasted like cheap eggs.
They only accept cash or check which is a huge turn off.
Overall it felt like a big waste of money and I could have gone to my next door neighbors for a better breakfast.
I will not be coming back.
Great place to have a casual conversation and enjoy a breakfast or lunch for a great value ✅
When we walked in no one greeted us. We just got yelled at from the back of the restaurant “ Go seat yourself”. My husband and I were kind of taking him back, but we figured they were just busy at the moment. After we sat down, this older lady came over and asked if we wanted straws we said yes, and she put down 1 straw for The 2 of us. . . After that, we went to order. I ordered my food and then when my husband went to order his food he asked for toast with his eggs and our waitress pretty much yelled at him and said “ They don’t come with toast” And we asked if we could add it and she then said “ We will take the meat off”. We were completely taken back Because we just wanted to add a side of toast. We didn’t want to push it anymore because we don’t like confrontation so we just dropped it from there. When we got our food The waitress asked if we wanted ketchup and completely ignored my husband when he said yes. When she came back to our table and I said yes, we did want some ketchup and then I also asked for a straw for my husband. She made a rude remark of “oh, you didn’t want it before”. . . . She came back with the ketchup and the straw. After only 2 minutes Later she came back with our bill and she took my husband’s straw (because I guess there is a time limit. You will have to put your straw in your cup.)
After we ate, I put my debit card on the table and our waitress glared at us and made another rude remark and said “we only take cash”. So I then went to the gas station and got some cash (I am not paying no convenience ATM machine lol) while I was at the gas station for 5 minutes my husband was at the table with my Purse. My husband said a couple minutes before I walked in our waitress, said to him “ What ? your wife couldn’t figure out the ATM” My husband did ignore her at this point Because it seemed she was looking for a reaction from him. She then said in a more aggressive, louder tone
“What? Is the ATM broken or something?” I was walking in at this point so I put the cash on the table and we left.
This has to be the worst experience we have had at a restaurant ever. We were treated so poorly, and if you are not a regular there, you are not a person. There seems like there is no respect for customers there. We are still on the hunt for a new breakfast Sunday spot!
We know these things seem minor, but when you add them all up And the attitude of our waitress you just realize the whole experience from start to finish was terrible.
