I’ve heard that Billy Goat Tavern is a cheeseburger restaurant with a rich history in Chicago. The ingredients were incredibly simple: just a patty and cheese. Surprisingly, the patty was very thin, making the burger look more like a snack. However, its fantastic flavor had me wishing for five or six more. You shouldn’t miss out on Billy Goat Tavern if you’re in Chicago. It’s an experience you must have. Thank you for the delicious meal :)”

A Chicago classic with very affordable prices, classic single patty cheeseburger for around $6. Self service, the burgers comes basic but you can add your own relish, pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and hot Louisiana sauce.

If you’re looking for a classic Chicago experience, look no further than the Billy Goat Tavern (Original)! This iconic spot can be a bit tricky to find, as it’s actually located in the underpass under Michigan Avenue. But once you find it, you’ll be glad you did!

This is the 1st time I’ve ever been here. I must say the burgers were excellent. I’ve never heard of the Billy Goat til my mom told me about the Saturday Night Live skit. Being that I’m in Downtown Chicago 4 to 5 days a week thought I would check it out. The burger was so good that I ended up getting a 2nd one. If you want a excellent made burger go to the Billy Goat at Lower 430 North, Michigan Ave. Chicago IL, 60611. Parking is limited in front of the restaurant but there is a Parking area you can go too if it’s really busy. I’ll be back again if I have a huge gap of time. Thanks for the food.

Growing up as a youngster watching the Saturday night Live skits of cheeseburger cheeseburger cheeseburger was always one of my favorites actually coming here and experiencing it was okay. It’s unfortunate that the gentleman passed away, but he did leave good memories. As far as the food, it’s really just a burger. That’s what it is. A burger and fries you can grab and go frozen patties and slap him on there. They fry them on the griddle right in front of you. But you can look around and see all the memorabilia just like in most of your Chicago restaurants. So just go check it out back in the cut and enjoy your cheeseburger

Absolutely delicious. Love they kept the original look and it’s simple like a hole in the wall spot but great food. It got busy and the staff wasn’t in the greatest mood. They probably are tired of getting asked the same questions. I’m from the south and we don’t typically put relish or pickles on our hotdogs but it’s worth the experience. I recommend you check this place out.

A Chicago icon! Perfect late-night chow on a Saturday night, the Obama Borger (burger with American cheese, bacon, fried egg over hard, and grilled onions on a Kaiser roll) is everything it should be.

This place is fantastic. An old school tavern tucked under the road near the Wrigley building. You can get a cheap burger and a cheap root beer in the heart of a price gouging district. A true diamond in the rough

It’s just as good as they say it is. A staple of Chicago. Good burgers and joint. This is their original location. Will recommend this place to anyone visiting Chicago.
