I tried a different location probably 10 years ago, and never went back because the burgers weren’t good. I just decided to try this location, since I’m frequently in the area. Sad to say, the burgers still aren’t good.
The people working here were extremely friendly. The prices are reasonable. My food was ready fast and it was hot.
However, I have to be honest. The burger was not good. It reminded me of the burgers they would serve in the cafeteria in elementary school. The actual burger patty itself didn’t have any flavor and it was just meh. A burger from McDonald’s would have been better than this. The fries were actually good, though they needed some salt.
Overall, I’m glad I tried it so I don’t have to wonder anymore. But I wouldn’t come back.

This place is from Saturday Night Live back when John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd were on and super funny they would say cheeseburger cheeseburger cheeseburger no cold Pepsi. If you haven’t been in here, you should definitely go. What do you need parking is a little bit hard. Bathrooms are clean. Service is great.

Everyone knows about the “cheezeborger” but I was pleasantly surprised by their breakfast choices. Two eggs, two slices of toast, choice of meat (the salami, which to me is more like good bologna, is DELICIOUS) and hash browns…all made within minutes for just $8.99! It’s like a good diner breakfast but at the Merchandise Mart.

Well, I don’t care what anyone says about this place, they serve good low priced food period. Sure inside the place looks like your about to be robbed or carted off in a white unmarked van and insider it probably was cleaned 2 decades ago. I would not want the staff doing brain surgery on me due to it being less than clean, but with a little hope you can get decent food at a reasonable price.

Their hot dogs are awful. The bun and hot dog are hard and rubbery. The hot dog is not even hot, barely warm. Would not recommend at all. Wish I could go back in time and not go here.

We went on a quiet holiday weekday during lunchtime, and needed a spot that the entire family could agree on. We were pleased that Billy Goat Tavern was open, and wasn’t overly busy. The food was above average, the prices were reasonable, and the service was decent (some staff were very friendly, others not so much). We liked that you could get a choice of toppings on the sandwiches, and everything had good flavor. Not the healthiest of meals, but you’d expect that going in.
