Absolutely the worst place I’ve been to. Food was crap and the service was even worse. The people are horrible and there was fights while I was there. People tried to start a fight with me because I was a veteran! All of the locals including the bartender support anti veteran beliefs. Its really sad. Please stay far far away!!!

This is the kind of place that southern New Jersey is known for so if you’re looking for that vibe, this is a perfect place to come. I came at lunch with a friend and the bartender was working hard cleaning things while we looked at the menus. She took our orders. I ordered their chili in a cup and a BLT on rye and the bacon was overcooked, although there was plenty on the sandwich and the chili was almost in edible because it was so heavily ketchup based you could tell they just either put Sriracha and ketchup or just ketchup in there to try to give it that zing and they totally missed, the note on how that should taste. Although it was a huge serving and if you like that particular catchy tasting chili, then you’re welcome to a really big cup because it was more of a mug for sure than a cup. My friend had a hamburger with some kind of topping on it. The hamburger he asked for medium rare, and he definitely got rare, which grossed him out a bit, and he didn’t finish it, but he did take the other half home with him. It was pretty dive. I had to find the men’s room from the women’s room and they really weren’t marked well especially the men’s room. I had to figure out by looking inside which one had a urinal.
They had a nice menu and I think I would’ve ate his burger. It looked good to me, but he was just grossed out by that much rare. You’ll see a picture. It doesn’t do it justice. It was very rare. And mine being overcooked, bacon wise and pretty much nasty chili I can’t give this better than a three although I think they probably have a few things on their menu that really might nail it. My friends french fries for example looks really good, follow please if you like

Adventures In South Jersey
We had ourselves a Saturday night adventure at Billy Boys Four Mile Tavern in Woodland Township, cause everywhere else just sucks! My wife and I like to start our bar crawls at this Pinelands Pub and work our way back to Medford. The staff is always friendly and the food is always good, especially the corn nuggets! It’s also a great stop on your way home from LBI, we love the hometown atmosphere. The highlight of our adventure was drawing on a dollar bill and taping it to the ceiling! Courtney was probably one of the worst ‘bartenders’ I’ve ever interacted with . Her being the owners daughter gets her too much leeway….. gotta fix that. Billy Boys is a Jersey dive bar at it’s finest. It’s the kind of place that where you feel at home and the staff actually bother getting to know you. I’ve been coming here after a nice Mc ride for years and from the dollars tapped to the ceiling to the fun sarcastic signs this place is perfect.

Just stopped in for a quick drink on our way to LBI. We wanted a shot of whiskey and the bartender suggested a “pickleback” I’ve never heard of it but it’s a shot of whiskey (we did Jameson) with a pickle juice chaser. It’s not terrible but I’m ok with not ever doing a pickle juice chaser again.

It’s a local bar with great people. We play in a pool league (APA) so Billy Boy’s is our home bar. They have great specials. Good is cooked great and there is a good variety of food. $1 wings on Wednesdays always does well.
