Always good to go there and have some good food! Whether it’s BBQ or country cooking this is one of my favorite places. There’s always a crowd and if you’re local, there’s a good chance you’ll see someone you know. They have been in business for decades and have a very loyal following. Family owned and operated. It’s easy to see why people love Billy Bob’s! We were there yesterday for lunch and got a family pack of BBQ to have today.

This was a experience I’ll never forget. The moment I walked in I was greeted with great hospitality and amazing service. We started off with an Ice Tea which had all the great flavors and it was not watered down. It tasted home-made which is something I’m not complaining about. I got the 1/2b Cheeseburger with fries and my extra side being the BBQ Eggrolls or whatever that is called. The burger was not only huge but juicy and was seasoned, topped with fresh produce. The fries were crispy and a little flimsy but they were still seasoned and it was decently tasty. The eggrolls were very delicious and outstanding. They did not lie when they mentioned it being “SOOO GOOD”. I have respect for them being the upmost confident and down to earth kind people I have ever met. This was my first and will most definitely NOT BE my last. Thank you to the staff members that have made this experience amazing.

First time eating here and it was nothing out of this world. The service was ok, the lady serving us looked upset the whole time which wasn’t pleasant at all and got our order wrong and the kids’ food took some time to come out. The corn bread was super dry but the best thing were the sweet potato fries. We really wanted mac n cheese but they didn’t have any at the moment. The gentlemen serving was nice and the lady apologized at the end for getting our order wrong which was nice of her but the way she presented herself the whole time didn’t make it a pleasant experience. Hopefully she was just having a bad day which we all do but overall the food wasn’t that great so it’s not a place we’ll eat at again.

Tried this restaurant based on reviews but was very disappointed. The service was quick at the drive-thru which was very convenient. Friendly staff, the food however was not that good. I ordered beef brisket plate (deluxe). The brisket was cooked but dry and hard. Almost like chewing a super dry chicken breast. They don’t serve it in slices. Definitely not the “Texas” style as advertised. The sauce like other reviews mentioned had a really weird taste and not appetizing. Potato salad wasn’t favorable. Coleslaw did not look nor taste anything like normal and was very watery. Good touch on the toast though. There might be other items on the menu that are good just not the Brisket if you really know what a brisket is supposed to look and taste like. If you dine in, there seems to be enough parking spaces.

I like me some good southern BBQ but this place really disappointed. We waited over 20 minutes for hickory fries and a sweet tea. I thought the fries would at least be warm but no…they are cold and cheese half melted. This definitely was NOT worth $20.84. The lady at the window doesn’t seem too happy to be there…J.S a little smile goes a long way!

Service was good and the atmosphere has that old cabin feel, no complaints there. The food was mediocre. Food portions were on par with most BBQ restaurants. Chicken was bland, no seasoning or smoke flavor. Brisket slices were ok. The smoke ring was very faint and the bark a little soggy so I’m assuming it was cut and sat in it’s juices earlier in the day. Fried Okra had good flavor but for sure was under a heat lamp for a bit. Potato salad was poorly made, maybe it was just bulk food service variety but please put some salt & pepper on it.

BillyBob’s has homemade BBQ sauce that is amazing. Their BBQ sandwiches are really good and French fries are homemade not frozen. Brunswick stew is Walkers and it’s amazing, just a tip, I like to add some corn to mine. The hickory fries are really good and cheesy. The steak is also really good. Highly recommend.

**Word of advice if youre in a hurry you better choose somewhere else to eat**
Wanted some BBQ for weeks now so we decided to try it. Came in there was 4-5 tables of people when we came in. My husband and I sat down. Waitress saw us when she was refilling drinks still took 10 minutes to get a menu. Took another 10 minutes for a waitress to come to get drinks order. When she brought them back to us we ordered. While waiting several other customers came in. They immediately got menus and drinks and ordered. Then they got their food, and we’re still back there waiting and waiting and waiting. It had been 42 minutes so i told my husband to come in lets just go and as i went to get up she walked up with our food. We got the BBQ pork plates i had fries and stew he had okra and stew. The BBQ was good, the stew was alright my fries were good and his okra was burnt and hard. The food altogether was good but not that good. Didnt take them long to take $40 though walked right up and paid. Will NOT be going back! I’ll drive all the way to Douglasville next time, faster friendlier service, cheaper and everything there is AMAZING
