New England seafood shack with fried fish, lobster rolls & chowder plus an outdoor deck in summer.

Old school seafood restaurant that does not disappoint. Clam chowder and lobster bisque both excellent. Thick but not too thick. Fried seafood was crispy and tender. Coleslaw was crisp and not overdressed. Huge bar area with a large tap beer selection. Portions are large. Outdoor seating on the river if you are there at that time of year. We got there when it first opened but it filled up fast. Gets pretty busy but service was still friendly and food served quickly. Will definitely return to try more options.

The food was amazing! 1st time here. Beautiful views of the marsh and the singing bridge. The staff were all wonderful and worked like a team! They were very knowledgeable and able to make recommendations and suggestions. FYI Bill’s seafood is CASH ONLY but there is an ATM on site.

I stopped in and got a pick up order. It was packed! The atmosphere is great. This place truly seems like a local favourite and has built a legacy for itself. One of the servers (working at the bar) was very rude when I asked her where to get my pick up order. Granted, it was extremely packed so she was probably overwhelmed. The food was decent. I had a New England clam chowder and hot lobster roll, which I paid about $40. The soup was pretty good, but the roll was just okay, slightly overcooked. I would go back to try the fried seafood. This place is a little on the pricey side, but has great views and live music. The atmosphere is great. Next time I’ll try their ice cream.

Bill’s Seafood Restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is always fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with great service that makes you feel right at home. Whether it’s the clam chowder, lobster rolls, or fried seafood platters, every dish tastes like a seaside vacation. It’s the perfect spot for family dinners or a casual night out with friends. Highly recommend — worth every penny and every bite!

This is our go to place to start off our summer. Bills has the best fried clamp belly in low Connecticut if not the best in Connecticut. The deck overlooking on coming boat traffic on the small river is a nice scene. The staff was attentive, the food came out pretty fast. The bar inside is pretty decent size if you want to sit in the air conditioning room. They also have a nice selections of Indian pale ales in the summer. The Bar out side also has a nice view, a little tight but great. They also have Live band here mostly on weekends.

Went on Labor Day. Got a table outside in 5-10 minutes. Live music on the deck. Our server was attentive and pleasant. Fisherman’s Platter was delicious. Kids’ meal came with a foot long dog, pretzel Goldfish, a slice of watermelon and an ice cream out at their shed. We cleaned our plates, and treated ourselves to ice cream, too! Thank you!

First time here and it absolutely didn’t disappoint. My waitress Taylor was great, fast, and very attentive. The drink was absolutely strong which I don’t mind at all! The food was absolutely delicious as well. The food came out quickly and looked presentable! Just giving everyone a fair warning IT IS CASH ONLY but they have an ATM. Other than that I absolutely enjoyed my time here and just having a nice view and having lunch here was worth it! Thank you !

If you’re on the Shoreline, you’re looking for an amazing place to have either surf or turf. They have got it covered at Bill’s Seafood. Their seafood is hands-down some of the freshest I’ve ever eaten. Now on the other hand, if you’re looking for prime rib look no further. I was so pleasantly surprised when I ordered the king cut prime rib. The flavors were off the charts and the potatoes. I’m not sure what they make them with but they are great too. Kathy and Jessica were amazing. Making sure that all of the things we need were taken care of. We are definitely gonna be going here on a regular. If you drive by and see that it’s packed that’s the reason the food is the best and don’t be alarmed. The weight is not that long totally worth the weight. Fantastic experience for a restaurant that has everything

Bill’s Seafood never disappoints. I’ve been going here for many, many years, even when I was a kid. I was on vacation visiting my children. I now live in Florida. So I make sure to hit up Bills EVERY time I visit CT. It is on the marina with a pretty view. We sat out on the deck on a gorgeous 78°day on a Tuesday. There is no waiting in line at this time. We enjoy the sound of the singing bridge. My daughter loved her lobster roll platter. They really filled the roll! The market price was $25.99 . It was well worth the price. The Cove in Bridgeport wanted $39.99 for market price on their lobster roll . I had the haddock fish platter. It was so delicious. The batter was light & tasty. We both love their coleslaw. Their slaw has a slightly sweetened flavor & not drowned in liquid. It was PERFECTION. We are very particular with our slaw . Our waitress was VERY attentive. Sorry, I can’t remember her name. But everyone there is super friendly. Can’t wait to go back.
