60+ years I lived in Tulsa and only came to Bill’s Jumbo Burgers a few time
Great burgers, unusual hours so be sure and check before you go.
We all got the Bill’s Big Daddy with cheese and all the trimmings.
DELICIOUS is the best description I can tell you.
Bill’s has been here for I’m not how long but 60-70 years probably
Highly recommended for passersby travelers

First time going! Wanted to try it out and they did not disappoint! Fresh off the grill burgers, fresh from the deep fryer fries! Very friendly people! Small building however. There are a couple of table and chairs outside, weather permitting. They do get super busy, and the parking lot gets full. Great old fashioned hamburgers.

Bill’s is GREAT!! We eat there everything we are in Tulsa. It is an “Old-Fashion” hamburger stand. The building was originally shipped to Tulsa by a rail-car. Technically they close at 3 p.m. In reality they close when they run out of patties or 3 which ever comes first. I have been there at 12:30 and all the patties were spoken for.
There are only about 5 or 6 barstools inside. A picnic table outside (maybe 2). Most orders are too-go.
They only take cash. Onions are smashed into the patties before cooking. If you don’t want them tell them when ordering. Fries can easily be shared by 2 people. It can take up to 45 minutes before they get your order done. Orders are cooked in the order they are received walk-in or call-in doesn’t matter, in order means IN-ORDER RECEIVED.
It’s not cheap & it’s not McDonald’s. It IS delicious!!

One of the best burgers I’ve had in a long while. I got the T-Town, which includes 3 half pound patties. Indoor seating on the counter and outdoor seating with two tables and chairs. Definitely worth the drive to find this hidden gem.

One of the best burgers in Tulsa. You have to get there early as possible because they will run out of meat. They are only open on Monday through Friday.

If you don’t like onions you can stop reading here. This is not the place for you.

I don’t like onions – so I ding them one star for that. I wish I knew going in that *every burger* has onion embedded in the meat by Bill before he puts them on the flattop. I would not have spent $8 on a burger I wasn’t going to eat if I had known that.

I learned it by watching the process. It is a very deliberate process in which the onions are pulled from a bowl and placed on top of the patties then set on the griddle. Not gonna lie – the man takes the utmost care and is a burger chef of the highest order. These are great looking burgers and they are methodically prepared. It would appear that nothing is left to chance and every burger is going to be consistent. If you liked it 20 years ago then you are going to like it today.

The fries are fresh, handcut potatoes and this is always, to me, the mark of a truly great fry. Delicious. I didn’t sample the tots or onion rings (natch) but they look to be of equally high quality.

The place is old and full of character. But it’s clean and tidy. The service is very friendly and efficient.

Of note: it is CASH ONLY. As best I can tell is they buy a certain amount of fresh beef every day and when they run out service wraps up until the next open day. When that happens is a moving target but if you wait too long after the lunch hour, you might find them closed for the day. One other thing: it’s not fast food, there is a process and it is carefully made. I noticed a lot of customers called their orders in and then showed up a bit later to pay and collect their food. Seems like a great idea because it is tiny and not much room to wait.

The bottom line is I would probably be a regular here were it not for the onion thing. I wish I could stomach onions. I really do. Because this place is a true Tulsa classic run by people that care about what they are doing. So they do it right.

In my opinion, the best burger in Tulsa. I ordered the Big Daddy! I believe the secret of this great burgers is the consistency of how it’s cooked.. just go and sit there to watch their process.. simple but effective, they take their time to make sure it’s cooked per their expectations.
