I used to eat at the one downtown often, over 20 years ago. They don’t taste as good as back then. If I want a hotdog now I’ll cook them myself, or go to a gas station at the end of 15th street that will let you customize them with many different toppings for cheaper.

My husband has been dying to try Bill’s for months now. He loves hot dogs, I’m not really a fan. We finally had the opportunity today. The staff was very friendly and polite. While I understand the local loyalty and memories, I am sorry to say we were very disappointed. The thick red skin around the hot dog was very hard and not appealing. The taste wasn’t good either. Just our preference, we know many people love the place.

Hometown favorite. Doesn’t matter if you travel for two days and microwave them when you get home. Still delicious. Been going here my whole. Get a double dog. It’s twice the dog without twice the bun and it’s only .$.25 more. I will say I appreciate they now take cards but my business is dropping because they keep raising the prices.

Best hotdogs around. The best way to get them is with light mustard and light chili, as they will SLATHER it on. Be prepared to order two-three hot dogs to get full. The restaurant only takes cash, but does have an ATM inside that charges you to use it.
