Was in GR for a dr appointment and needed to find a place nearby for lunch. There weren’t a lot of options, so I stopped here. Had a Frisco sandwich, and my daughter got chicken strips and fries. The Frisco sandwich was tasty, grilled perfectly on a wonderful sourdough bread. Our server was Liz, she was super sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. It was quite busy when we got there at 12:30, but almost empty by the time we left. Obviously, it caters more to the morning crowd as the majority of food options were breakfast food. Decent food, excellent service. The kind of place where they greet regulars by name and already know their order.

I shared the Frisco melt and a side of fries with my mom, and it was delicious! Very friendly atmosphere and staff! The lock on the women’s bathroom had me stumped cuz I wasn’t sure it was actually locked… (that’s a me problem!) but overall, I would eat there again!

When we were served our food my daughter’s chicken sandwich had hair all over the sandwich. ( The kitchen staff didn’t have hair nets on & the waitress walked all over the kitchen as well with no hair nets while in the kitchen). So 2 out of 3 of us had lunch while we had to wait for the sandwich to be remade. We had to ask for a refill on drinks when clearly the waitress could see we had nothing in our glasses every time she walked by. When I got the bill the waitress never offered to take the sandwich off or maybe give it a discount needless to say it will be a very long time before I go back.

We are traveling from Missouri. I always try to find the hole in the wall places. This place nailed it! My kids loved the biscuits and gravy. The omelette I got was the best I have had. Literally like straight out of grandma’s kitchen. For sure will return when we come to visit.

It’s alright. Your typical greasy spoon restaurant. They only have one waitress and it took 10 minutes just to get coffee and water. I will say the waitress was doing a good job for being the only one that showed up.

Small diner with huge portions! Ask for the “chefs Verde salsa”.. super hot but delicious. Would definitely dine here again
