The new heritage menu is vibrant, hearty, and beautifully balanced. We started with the duck tostada, tear and share bread, cauliflower soup, and Bill’s tortilla with smashed avocado and salsa. While every starter was delicious, the duck tostada was the clear standout packed with flavour, beautifully balanced, and the perfect mix of richness with freshness cutting through. The cauliflower soup was smooth and comforting, with a lovely depth that elevated it beyond a simple starter.
For mains, the smoky soy and chilli glaze pork belly was incredible, tender and full of depth, with sweet heat and smokiness in every bite. The chargrilled Black Angus sirloin steak was cooked perfectly, beautifully seasoned, and rich in flavour. The chicken burger was juicy and satisfying, rounding out a fantastic selection of mains.
Dessert was just as impressive. The tiramisu, rhubarb and custard tart, and the lemon meringue pie in a glass were all outstanding. The lemon meringue in particular was light, zesty, and beautifully layered, a refreshing and fun twist on a classic. A perfect sweet ending to a wonderful meal.
The Jubel fruit lager was light, crisp, and incredibly refreshing a great pairing with the meal.
A special mention to Vlad and Cameron, who really looked after us and made the experience even more enjoyable. It was also lovely to see my 8-year-old tucking into all the dishes with such enthusiasm, always a great sign!
Highly recommend the new heritage menu. We’ll definitely be back. See you soon, Bill’s!
Jaqs’ positive energy and outstanding service truly elevated our visit and made the whole experience memorable. It’s rare to come across someone so passionate about delivering excellent customer service. She is a real credit to the team at Bill’s and we’ll definitely be back.
Our breakfasts were delicious — fresh, well‑cooked, and nicely presented.
Everything came out hot, and the portions were just right. It’s the kind of place where you can happily linger over a coffee and enjoy a slow start to the day.
Overall, a really enjoyable breakfast spot. We’d definitely return next time.
The food was absolutely delicious – served hot, tasted fresh, and was affordable.
The staff can’t do enough for you, checking everything is ok with your meal, asking if you want anything else to drink when glasses are empty, and really friendly!
