Bill’s BBQ Shack is a relative newcomer to the area. Formerly “CB Huntingtons” , Bill’s theme is country style BBQ family style. A full bar with TVs for sports is situated on the left as you enter the dining room. The spacious main room is lined with comfortable booths and a few picnic tables toward the rear. The decor is simple and functional. I ordered the Brisket sandwich. It was tasty with small cubes of brisket just enough sauce and a zesty pickled slaw topping and french fries on the plate. You can request different sauces for more or less heat. Nice bark on the brisket pieces. The waitress was excellent. Overall I liked my experience. You should give it a try

The ribs were on point and the Korean BBQ sauce was good, but I feel something was missing. The pork belly burnt ends were good, but a little crisper would be nice. The decor was awesome and worked very well. I wish I could have tries the birch beer float!!

Overall Bill’s BBQ Shack is Ok at best. Their sauces are delicious but their appetizer and meals are lacking in quality. I ordered the brisket sandwich, which came out room temp and almost cold. The meat was largely fat and very chewy. The sauce, coleslaw, and fries redeemed the meal. I also ordered the pulled pork BBQ nachos and unfortunately the cheese was awful quality. Again food was not hot, and the sauce was the only redeeming factor. They recently opened so I hope they are able to correct these deficiencies. The waitress and service received was great though. I will be coming back but I do hope the quality improves.

Nope, nope, nope. Menu was EXTREMELY limited. Granted, it did say “soft opening” at the top of the menu.
I ordered a half rack of baby back ribs. The first time my food came out, it was so dry and tough. I sent it back. The second go-round was better, although NOTHING to write home about.
I tried a couple of their hush puppy appetizers and those were GREAT! Their potato salad was quite good, but the entree left me completely underwhelmed.
Return visit in the future? I don’t think so. There are overall MUCH better eateries in the area.
I do hope that they improve their menu to be more robust AND they also improve the quality of their food.

$90 for cold food! This was the 4th and last time I’ll go to this place.
First two times were decent, 3rd time got a family to-go order which they totally messed up and had to drive back to get the rest of my food. Finally this weekend we went, and 5 out of the 6 dinners we got were cold. All of the sides weren’t even room temperature, the brisket was just about room temp, ribs were the only thing that were warm and actually very good. We sent the food back and of course with the modern invention of a microwave the sides were warm, but after they put the brisket under the broiler it was totally ruined.
The manager really felt bad and took off an order of corn bread and half of a platter order; about $18 bucks…wow. I just felt bad for our poor waitress, we took care of her, but short of warming the food up herself she must have made 15 trips back and forth to the kitchen.
It’s a shame they do not know how to run a kitchen – it’ll be the last time we ever go there.
Hope they do well enough in liquor sales to stay open and maybe overcome their issues in the kitchen.

One of my boys, my wife and I had dinner at Bill’s BBQ Shack last night, arriving around 7 PM. I asked about the food and the wait time we should expect. Our waiter, Jay, gave recommendations and told us that the food would come quickly because we had just missed the rush.
The food came and was very good. We got wings, brisket, and ribs with a side of mac and cheese and fries. We enjoyed the smokey flavor and the sauce was good.
While I can’t comment on other reviews, our experience was good enough to make us want to come back again. The serving size was generous, the restaurant clean, the price fair, and the service excellent.
I hope these guys make it.

The food was delicious and the portions were huge. We’ve been here a couple of times and each time the meals have been delicious. Especially loved the barnyard fries and the ribs. Our waitress, Brittany was fantastic. Very attentive and helpful. Best barbecue place around!

This was our first visit to Bill’s and we wish we hadn’t waited so long to come here. The service was great , our server Montana was very attentive, took great care of us and showed a deep understanding of the menu and different sauces and flavors offered. The food was the best BBQ we have had in years and we have been trying every BBQ place we can find. All items came in generous portions well prepared and presented . The smoke flavor was spot-on , not overpowering but enough to stand on its own if you want to skip sauce. The dining are was nice ,clean ,open with a nice rustic feel. We will be going back and soon.

Food was very good and atmosphere was nice. Waitress was very good also. We we’re at a booth overlooking the back of the restaurant and dumpsters. Windows need cleaning inside and out but the BBQ was so good we will be back! There is a nice bar, amusement park, mini golf and amazing arcade attached. Also an outside bar with live music on special nights. We went back the following weekend and the food was horrible! We all thought it was leftovers from the day before. Everything was room temperature to cold. How are fries cold? We will not be back. What a shame.
