A favorite lunch spot for me, their traditional style BBQ is always good along with their great service. Today I enjoyed a BBQ salad with brisket, but don’t pass on their tri-tip salad–it’s delicious! I also get their pulled pork sandwich on occasion, but honestly haven’t been served anything from their menu that I haven’t fully enjoyed. We used them once for a catered celebration of life lunch service, I’m sure our friend was looking down smiling as BBQ restaurants were his favorite, and they did an excellent job. Oh, for their lunch service it’s an order at the register, gather your own utensils, and bus your own table kind of place. I’m not sure if their dinner service is the same as I’ve only eaten here for lunch, but if you like BBQ I don’t think you can go wrong here.

I have discovered that restaurants in Oregon don’t know how to mix drinks! I ordered a Moscow Mule and it tasted like sour mix. I exchanged it for a whisky sour, and it had sugar and was served in a sissy glass!

We happened to be in Eugene and wanted bbq. We asked a couple locals and the suggested Bill and Tims. We arrived at around 3pm. They have a great menu. I ordered a full racked of ribs with pork n beans and bacon potqto salad. My husband ordered the tritip Philly with bacon potato salas. My brother ordered hush puppies and the chop salad. Unfortunately the ribs were very dry. I don’t usually like to leave a bad review, but they were bad. Infact we kept the left overs and tried them today thinking they would be better with more sauce. No. In the photo near the left is the membrane you are supposed to remove before you cook them. That was very tuff. The hush puppies are amazing, the tritip was very good. The beans not so much and the bacon potato could be better the flavor was good but it was very wet. Maybe to much onion dampness. Will I go back, maybe for a to go order of hushpuppies. If you go there I hope you have a compltely different experience. Other than that, we had a great day. I think it was more so unfortunte for me because I have been eating a lot more healthy lately and I wanted something delicious. It was disappointing. I feel cheated.

I LOVE all the PIGS in here! I collect pigs so it was enjoyable for me to check out their collection! Food was good, my family of 12 felt comfortable here! We were able to push tables together so we could all eat together. Ordering at the front is “ok”. Just would have liked there to be more than 1 person taking the orders. There were several people, us and others, seemed to stand awhile waiting to get up to the register. However, the food did come out fast!

Bill and Tim’s has the the best BBQ in Eugene. They also have the best salad in town and it’s called the Tri tip salad. Pictured here. It’s huge and it’s delicious. Everything is great. The sides are also very good and they have a great tap selection. Check it out!

BBQ brisket isn’t generally shredded and it’s never tough. The brisket was too tough to eat. The sausage was split and then grilled. This dries it out and turns it into something closer to sausage jerky instead of juicy sausage. The Mac and cheese was dry and clumped together instead of smooth and creamy. The coleslaw was great the sauce was decent. I ordered delivery and can’t rate the in person experience. Not worth the money.

My God I loved this place. Their food is fantastic for the price charged. They have assorted sauces so you can experiment with which ones you like and which you don’t (their spicy bbq sauce was stellar.) The staff were nice and laid back and they had some nice music playing. I would heavily recommend this place it is fantastic.

You might drive right without seeing it but pulling over and getting some barbecue sandwiches won’t disappoint.
They’ve got great indoor seating and some really cool and covered outdoor seating.
Lots of microbrews on tap and a few ciders. The menu is very diverse. There is something for everyone. 4 to 5 different barbecue sauces, give each a try, you won’t be disappointed.
I found the atmosphere quiet and easy to have a friendly conversation. Staff was very knowledgeable about brews in tap and super friendly. Try it out you will love it.

Here they are, ranked.
1. Ham. It was thick and ham like. No weird fatty bits. Good texture.
1. Chicken (tied with ham.) Good flavor, not overcooked. Nice seasoning.
2. Pulled beef. Not much flavor. Dry.
3. Pulled pork. Dry. Tasted overly porky. (It sounds weird, but that’s the only way I can describe it.
4. Tritip. Dry. Tough. Flavorless. Weird hard fatty that were inedible.
I would come back and try it again, maybe an off day?
