In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas.
We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. We have been here several times and it has been a good experience. The service is excellent, my order especially the drive thru has been without issues. The food is very consistent, I love their chicken and chicken sandwich. The atmosphere inside is simply decorated and usually clean, even outside.

The employee who packed up my to go order on purpose put qt. soup on top of a poorboy. There were other items in the bag & I saw her lift the poorboy & put the qt. soup right on top crushing the poorboy. She brought my order out looking very angry when she handed the order to me. If employee doesn’t like to treat customers with respect they need to leave the job. No employee should treat customers that way on purpose. I didn’t bother to say anything to her. This restaurant is notorious for treating customers like crap. This is not the 1st time that employees throw food in bag without care, omitting items ordered, etc. I know they are in a hurry but we pay for the food & we should be treated professionally.

DONT DOOR DASH I paid $50 total for this. $20 plate..sad
You always mess up my Door Dash order. Today you forgot the brisket and sent me a 2 item plate. If you dont want us to order door dash, remove the service. You always mess up my order eventhough i keep ordering, forgiving the past mistakes.

Very unique barbecue place located off the interstate. Fast friendly service. Can get busy on the weekends and during peak hours. Food is delicious and reasonably priced and just the right amount. Dining area is rustic as if the entire building. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re traveling to the Rio Grande Valley.

We are from Brownsville and we went to the aquarium after that we were looking for a good bbq place to eat we have google this place but left disappointed. The brisket was really bad with no flavor the bbq sauce was bad, the portion was small and sides were not recently made as if they were sitting in a pan all day. We also order the fried chicken and to be honest churches chicken is way better. Only good thing about this restaurant was the tea. Prices around 10 to 15 dollars. Staff were friendly.
