In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. This is definitely the saddest portion I have ever received. This is uneaten untouched amount of food except for jalapenos I added. Hardly enough gravy for one tender. I counted only 10 decent fries in this insanely small portion. I am in complete disbelief of this disgraceful meal. My wife’s and sons are exactly the same way. Crazy what almost 40$ gets you.

I come to this Bill Millers ALL the time. I dont ever have problems here. I always get the Buckaroo 2 piece tenders. On Friday, I got my usual order (and a bean and cheese) in the drive thru. I got home and saw I had about 8 fries, super soggy and cold. The chicken tenders were TINY and my bean and cheese was disgusting and cold. I called and the manager was very kind, but no solution was provided. I don’t USUALLY have problems here so I went back today, Sunday. I got the 2 piece buckaroo and thankfully, the tenders were big today. But I had so little fries, not to mention they were so soggy. I have been getting this meal for over a year, 1-3 times a week. I NEVER get so little fries. The manager told me I could go in and fix it with her. But I continued to eat and saw something in my chicken. It’s a gooey pasty texture inside my tenser. I’ve never seen this in my chicken before. I’m not sure what changed in the past week, but the food and service has never been like this. I’m extremely disappointed because this is my favorite place to eat and we go sooo often.

Pretty standard fast food. Service is just ok. Lots of young people working there with low level management rushing them to complete the orders. This results with incomplete orders.
Update: just placed an order in the drive thru and I ordered a portion of pico. This is the portion that they charged me for. Probably won’t be going back to this location until they change management. Consistently wrong. It’s actually impressive to a degree.

Had door dash delivery twice in San Antonio. Sides were standard fare and plain. I had fries, potato salad, pinto beans, and refried beans. All edible but nothing to rave over. Meats were chicken, ribs, and brisket. Really enjoyed the brisket and the quarter chicken was a nice sized portion. Rib portion was smaller than I’d like but they were good, not great but better than you’d expect from a chain. I had pumpkin pie and apple pie. Both were great and seemed fresh not frozen more like something from a bakery or in house made rather than some mass production Sysco product. I will definitely keep an eye open for this brand in the future.

I definitely get that meat is expensive BUT I’m coming back for more. I love the way the coleslaw was made. I love green beans but I wasn’t a big fan of the soup it was made in. The brisket I ordered was what I was looking for

This place while clean was gross. The good was nasty and i had high hopes that with how busy the drive through was that they were good i was wrong. The green beans were unseasoned and very mushy, the brisket if you could call it that tasted worse than the premade frozen ones you can get from walmart, the mac n cheese while the best part of the meal was mushy and under seasoned. The sweet tea for 1 wasnt sweet and 2 tasted like it had been made last week.

I dont know if this place came under new management recently, but i just have to say im extremely disappointed in my most recwnt order. I was missing a drink, my chop-burgers were missing the one ingredient that i asked for (pickles) . One of my chops was served in a poorboy bun, and was severely lacking in meat, i ordered extra gravy (and was charged for it) which i never recieved. My chicken sandwich was nothing but a large chicken tender on the wrong kind of bun, had no pickles, was missing the sauce i ordered on it. On top of that i ordered early for pick up and still had to wait nearly 30 minute to get my food. Worst order experience by far from any Bill Millers ive been to.

The food was horrible. The bbq sauce was tomato sauce, the brisket was fatty, the chicken wasn’t flavorful the coleslaw was dry and vinegary the potato salad was vinegary the Mac n cheese was out of a box I don’t recommend and don’t understand why so many cars are there they never had real good bbq I guess. Never will I eat there again not even for free.
