In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. Outstanding. Excellent food, service, and clean. We eat here quite often. We were lucky enough to meet Sylvia who makes the most beautiful, delicious pancakes consistently. Most breakfast outings we have had were good, but this was an outstanding experience. The manager is always working very hard to make for a smooth operation of this Bill Millers. He is very courteous and professional. He appears to take pride in his management position. The cashier is fast and polite. Highly recommend. Best pancakes I have had in quite a while.thank you Bill Millers.

Usually I have zero problems with Bill Miller’s, but the last few times I’ve been into one, all different locations, the staff has had attitude for zero reason. I bought a new car mug here today, and it was dirty on the lid coming out of the plastic. I told the manager that I wanted a new cup, instead she just took the lid off and rinsed it, with the black mark still on it when she brought it back. I told her for a second time that I wanted the cup fully replaced with a new one since it was dirty under the shrink wrap and, with attitude, she replied “well, I need the cup back from you”. I’m not sure if maybe all the stores need new training or new employees, but these last few experiences in yalls stores have been horrible.

I recently started eating breakfast here. Everything is great, breakfast tacos are delicious, but when I got the pancakes, they’re great, but that watered down syrup isn’t. Its an insult to the pancakes! Please, dont do this to save a couple of bucks. Watered down syrup is literally like prison syrup. Come on now…

This place is okay, wait times here are too long and I’m surprised out of all places in Military town USA that Bill Millers doesn’t have military discount to its veterans. Food is okay but seems to be less quality every time I go and it’s doing fine now but the trend seems to be the restaurant chain is falling off. Used to love the breakfast tacos it tasted so fresh and good and now it’s not what it used to be.

I had breakfast delivered from Bill Miller. My bacon & egg taco was good. The bacon was nice & crispy. I also ordered pancakes. The stack of 3 pancakes were really good! But note to self order additional syrup. And ask for butter!

Glad to hear they reopened dining areas in all these stores so I came in this wet morning to try the breakfast tacos at this location. Ms. Marbella at the counter was very friendly, listened attentively and repeated my “special” order back since I had a finicky eater who dislikes EGG, really? Anyway the place had about 3 diners, and alot of to-go peeps waiting inside instead of going thru drive-thru that usually has long lines at this location off Bandera/Wurzbach. I always check my to-go orders wherever I go because of my picky spouse and I hate going back to correct what should have been made & checked before I received it. So good reviews for the line cooks! Everything was perfect. Her special no egg tacos were good and flavorful. Potatoes were a little mushy and cold when I got home but still not bad. One thing management, just an observation…Please keep your inside floors, chairs, & tables clean! It’s the AM but it’s as if no-one swept or mopped prior to opening. Guys you just reopened, make it inviting, you want people to come back in! Anyway give them a try

I’ve recently been ordering the strips with ranch chipotle side and tell me why it’s half way of the cup it comes in sometimes less than that, but when it’s the gravy it’s filled to the top. I understand if it’s “limited supply” kind of situation please let customers know or just don’t sell the ranch chipotle sauce at all

I don’t know how some people don’t care for Bill Miller’s. We love it. We visit often it’s an easy and decently price location. We are a family of four that eats with about $35. Their chicken tenders and chicken with bone is sooo tasty. My go to order is either one with a jalapeno and side of BBQ sauce.
