In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. Brisket is really dry and they jus smothered it with bbq sauce. Green beans with tomatoes was ok. Vegetable beef soup tastes better after adding salt n pepper. I hate wasting food but I had to throw it away.

Brisket is not worthy to be served in texas, awful sauce mixture, horribly made steak fries, the most boring mac and cheese, HOWEVER, the diced hash brown had salt AND pepper, absolute game changer….. Yeah, DONT eat here, any true texan that takes brisket serious woudlnt eat this no matter how fast the service is.

Needs improvement in communication, and friendliness, The cashier doesn’t say hi just looks mad I had asked for pickles and she just stared at me then shut the door she gave them to me I said thank you and she just shuts the door no thank you no nothing. It’s like they just want to get you in and out as quickly as possible with the least amount of communication. A simple hi and thank you would be nice maybe a smile I think that’s hoping for too much. It’s sad to see but the cashiers always seem bothered and mad god forbid you ask them a question it’s not only this location but several others. I ordered a poor boy extra lean and I ended up getting this instead I think it’s chicken and a bunch of burned fat at the bottom of the sandwich I didn’t eat it.

Today was a perfect time for coconut cream pie , I couldn’t even be disappointed
It was great and delicious

The courtesy of the staff. The team cleaner was always cleaning kept the restaurant clean and offered our trash out from the table. That was awfully helpful and kind of him – that has never happened before.
But my local Bill Millers is looking presentable for any moment of appetites
Keep up the great work on the food guys and keep up the amazing job of making us feel welcomed and FULL

Another great Bill Millers spot! I usually go to this one with my church brothers, we have a nice little fellowship over some good barbecue!
The atmosphere and store was clean and quiet, the customer service was excellent, and it wasn’t too packed for a Sunday morning! Very refreshing after a great church service!

Just ordered #9 chicken sandwich meal. Asked to add cheese, they said they only had shredded, said that’s fine. They gave me shredded cheese in a to go container, I assumed they would have put it on the sandwich and melted it, makes no sense. They also gave me cold fries that I couldn’t even eat. They are usually better than this.

So walking in to this bill millers was great employees uplifting and great but food not so great ! As I ordered the combo meal number 7 let me tell you I was not happy on how my order came out it’s like some one was rushing in the back and just threw everything on my plate and didn’t care how it looked coming out now if I was so unsatisfied with my food I only was able to eat one sandwich and leave as the appearance of the food made me feel uncomfortable better yet has I pickup my sandwich I notice some chicken Uber my sandwich and I know a number 7 has no chicken in it better yet here is some pictures

Very nice people i witnessed them helping a man with a baby. The lady i believe was a manager get him a high chair help put the child in the chair and went to get his food and what ever condiments he wanted . Meanwhile I lady at the register was so nice to the people even if they were taking long she expect reassuring them no worries take your time so you can enjoy. Love to see people loving people

That cost $7.50…………..I was so disappointed, that it cost that much. It was delicious.
The service was very quick. Which leads to a bit of small confusion among workers. I basically deducted 3 stars for the price.
This just isn’t what eggs and potatoes should cost, anywhere at anytime. And of course a drink doesn’t come with that.
That’ll be 3 dollars more for watered down beverages in cups full of ice..
Went back twice actually. The food was still Straight South Central TeXas. Delicious, fulfilling. It’s only right I give it, it’s due
