In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas. We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. This location was not worth the trip. Order placed properly, verified by the team member who took it. The cook who made it did not ensure the items were accounted for.
When I asked for help, ie : Can we seal these, it’s Favor Delivery? The other staff member replies “We don’t know if it’s delivery!” I tell her, “In this case yes, the order taker knew and even tried to make sure everything was in there..all I am asking is that the bags be sealed!”
Why not just take the bags check and seal them???
Receipt shows what? Do your own job and don’t make the next person’s harder.

Every time I order through their app, they forget items. It’s been twice that they forget to put TWO of the tacos in my order. I don’t usually fuss about small items missing but that’s essentially someone’s meal they’re missing and at least $5 worth of food. Staff could be friendlier as well.

Wanted their meet and vegetable soup but asked for the rice on the side cuz I don’t like it getting soggy before I even get home. They proceeded to tell me that would be an extra charge as if I ordered a pint… that doesn’t make any sense.. take what you put in the soup and put it in a side cup? I don’t understand the reason behind an extra charge. I used to do it all the time. Just greedy. Bills USED to be good, now it’s just over priced fast food. I’m good.

Came by the restaurant tonight, staff was very attentive and friendly. Lobby was clean and bright. Everything was good until MY FOOD came to the table. It looked a little off. I still ate the chicken. I found some blood in 1 piece of chicken. I was hungry so I ate. The manager came by and checked my chicken. She suggested I receive some new chicken; the chicken i had was ok, but the manager gave me 2 new pieces of chicken. They looked way better. ( so, thank you to the night shift manager ‘white female ‘) now that’s what I call customer service…

An absolute nightmare. We waited in the drive thru for about 15 mins before deciding to get off and order. We waited another 10 minutes to order inside and then another 20 minutes to get our food. Worst experience at a Bill Millers. Disappointed and won’t be back to this location.

7/1/24 BE AWARE OF THE NEW UPCHARGES. I was handed a side of mac and cheese and told at the register it was an upcharge, and sadly, it wasn’t worth it. I asked for specific pieces for my 3 piece chicken and come to find out that was an upcharge. I don’t eat out often, really anymore, but I dropped by to have lunch with a coworker annnd probably won’t be doing that again. I’ve enjoyed visiting for over a decade, maybe more, but this is just more of a reason to stick to eating the lunch i carry and not dining in anywhere.

Always kind people, always fresh food for me so far….I go at least twice a month… The check out girl is always so patient with smiles…… Their rancher plate has so much I divide it into two meals… And their breakfast tacos are simple but full of freshness.

Bill Miller is awesome! Bar-B-Q is great and always right on! Kids and whole family loves it. We stopped on this one and always the same consisting taste with all others. Kids had stomach full and a smile from ear to ear. It was packed around noon but service was fast. Prices are the same as any other. Super recommended!
