First time here. We were in the area and decided we needed a BBQ lunch.

Food:
They have an extensive menu, with the emphasis on smoked meats. We got a Mile High Reuben and a Pastrami Sandwich. Both had a good portion of very tender smoked meats, and they were served hot. The marble rye was nicely toasted.

The order of onion rings was huge. They were hand-breaded with a decent amount of flavor. There was a mix of different sizes, but lots of little pieces, which made them a bit tedious to eat.

Service:
Super friendly and helpful service. You grab a seat and order at the bar. The food came out in short order.

Atmosphere:
It’s an interesting-looking place, both inside and out. Outside you pass the barbecue that’s fired up and smoking the meats. Inside, it has a low ceiling with lots of mugs, over 2,500 of them, that are numbered and belong to customers. There was lots of friendly banter going on between patrons and staff. There were only a few other small groups there, and it was a bit noisy for my tastes.

A great place for an excellent sandwich.

This was our 2nd visit on our way to Holy Hill. It did NOT disappoint!! You seat yourself and order up at the register for food and the bar for drinks. You pay after you finish. There is outside seating as well!! FAST service and VERY PLEASANT staff!! Our food was amazing and we finished it all!! I had the prime rib sliders with sweet potato fries and my husband had the Philly steak with the sidewinder fries. The pretzel was from another table and was so big that I asked them if I could take a pic! They did say it was VERY good!! We will definitely return. Thank you!!

1) we got SO much DELICIOUS food for what we paid, 2) the patio out back was enclosed AND heated, so I was able to take my senior dog out of the house this winter. He had a blast playing with another dog and had so much attention ❤️ 3) the staff was SO accommodating. 20/10 recommend the place just because of the people. They made sure we (including my old man Remy, pictured here) were comfortable in every way possible. 4) they’re hosting a tailgating party for the big game going on, why arent you there?????

It was too busy for my liking. It was the definition of busy. That didn’t stop the staff from being great. They were kind. The food. Let’s talk about the food. I got a pretzel, which is both delicious and huge!!! They are not playing with portions. Well worth the money. The fish fry is the best I’ve had in a very long time. I tried a different place and it made me sad. Biting into the fish made me stop, open my phone and review. It’s too good. Crunchy and such good quality fish. I am seriously satisfied with everything these people do. Too delicious.

Always good food. Always good people. Sometimes a bit too crowded for me. Nice sunroom addition, if you get a chance to eat up there (in summer).

Exceptional Food & Great Vibes!
This place is a total gem. We came in for brunch and were honestly blown away—you don’t expect food this good at a dive bar.
* The Food: Ian the chef clearly knows what he’s doing. The brunch was absolutely exceptional. He’s got a bit of an attitude, but honestly, when the food tastes that good, he’s earned it.
* The Service: Brittany the bartender was fantastic. She was super attentive, friendly, and kept the drinks flowing. She really makes the place feel welcoming.
* The Vibe: It’s a classic dive bar through and through.
The only minor heads-up is the women’s restroom—one of the stall doors didn’t lock, which isn’t ideal. However, the food and the service from Brittany were so good that it still deserves a full five stars. We’ll definitely be back!

Great experience. The bartender was fun to talk to and the food was amazing. The pizza was great and large enough to share with the entire table. The Philly is delicious and the twisty fries were a perfect pair. The burgers are something to keep coming back to. Great selection of beers and the service was unmatched.

Pulled pork sandwich was so flavorful and moist. It’s hard to make pulled pork that isn’t super stringy and dry, but they did it! Pastrami sandwich was outstanding too. Our kids loved their cheese and sausage pizza. Excellent beers on tap and loved the build-your-own bloody mary bar. Would def recommend!!!!

I love that they have gluten-free buns! We can finally go out to eat safely. Nice staff and you place your order up at the counter. I like being more self-sufficient like that. Large menu and drink menu as well. Lots of outdoor seating and great bands to entertain you. Heated upstairs bar / outdoor patio is a great touch! Nice holiday events & bingo as well. My only critique is this place definitely needs more indoor room but that would take away from the parking!

Yes, this is a pub. It is noisy, small and the tvs are on loud. And the food is really good! Five of us stopped in for the first time on a Sunday evening. You order at the counter and pay there when you are done. We had a rueben, hamburger, french dip, brisket and a kid’s mini hotdogs. Everything was eaten except for 1/2 the reuben which came home with us.
Don’t expect much in atmosphere but the food is absolutely worth the visit.
There is plenty of parking, although I imagine this place is packed on a Friday or Saturday night. They do have pagers for those who need to wait for a table.
