Barbecued pork, brisket & ribs, plus classic sides, in a barnlike space hung with license plates.

Nice staff, clean, warm atmosphere, the food super good yes indeed! The food came real fast! A family friendly location. A great place to film movies! I did also see Netflix Production business on the wall! 10/10

This is a good BBQ restaurant. You tell from the road as the parking lot is always fun! I stopped by to check it out. The meat is tender and juicy without much seasoning so you can use a variety of their sauces! The sides are excellent! The greens were perfect, good flavor and not over cooked! The fried okra was crunchy and delicious! The key lime pie was good – sweet but tart – perfect in my opinion! Highly recommended!!

Y’all, if you love country cooking & BBQ, this is YOUR place! We’ve gotten their catering before, so we have tried almost everything on their menu. There is nothing that was less than excellent. When you see a lot of old-timers eating there, (as is always there) you KNOW it’s gonna be good. My favorite is their smoked turkey, fried okra, sweet potato fries & cornbread. Their okra reminds me of how my grandmother fixed it-yummy! Their banana pudding is pretty dang good too. The portions are big-I usually have leftovers, as I did today. Make sure you use your map because it’s easy to drive right by it if you’re headed north. You have 6 choices of sauce on the table (they are for sale by the bottle also).

The restaurant has a clean and inviting environment but that’s where the good news stops. The redneck lasagna is a great compilation but the presentation of having a moderately sized Styrofoam cup stuffed with Mac n Cheese and stew crushed down with a lid is more insulting than eye pleasing. The $3 drinks come in a small Styrofoam cup with 70% ice cubes and two cups of whatever you hoped to drink. In fairness, if you eat there you can get free refills from am unhappy girl behind the counter. The staff couldn’t answer a few of our questions but thank God the ingredients were on the sides of bottles when it comes to sauces. Be warned if you have seafood allergies, we found anchovy paste in all but one of the sauces. The salads are NOT worth the $16 and the chicken meat was dry. Worse was the very dry cornbread that just about dehydrated my body when it sucked the saliva out of my mouth.
To say we were all disappointed was an understatement. A competitor up the street set a high bar with their food amd sauces. I can not understand why people pick Biguns when they could have so much better down the street. The highlight is the Redneck Lasagna but pay for the cup or bowl, don’t waste the extra money on the meal. The presentation is closer to a school lunch to go, rather than a commercial establishment.

Between the four of us, we had the Brunswick stew, ribs, sausage, brisket, okra, greens, and more. Always cooked well and very flavorful, great barbecue. Due to its popularity, it’s generally crowded, but you have three options to eat inside, to eat outside or to drive through and pick up. The dining room was neat, cleaned, and well taken care of. The weight staff was prompt and friendly. Overall, a great experience. As an older citizen with a bad back, I just wished there was a little more padding on the chairs.

We ordered a three meat combination plate with pork ribs, smoked turkey and brisket. Ribs was good but very little meat. Brisket was dry and very crumbly. Smoke turkey was OK. From my photos, you can see the meat portions were very modest. The sides, mash potatoes with brown gravy and green beans were average. The cornbread was very dry and edible only if you are really hungry.
There were 6 sauces to choose from and I tried them all! I really liked them all but the Caribbean Mustard BBQ sauce stood out. These sauces are the stars of the show!
Service was lightening fast and staff was friendly.
The bathrooms are so impressive, I am compelled to describe and add to my review.
All clean new wood paneling and doors with elegant decor. Hot water was hot right away. Auto soap dispenser and auto paper towel dispenser that both work on the first try. 4 rolls of TP all readily positioned to roll out perpendicular to the wall for smooth access (wish I had brought my camera into barhroom). Waste bin properly positioned next to exit door. Ladies, you know what I mean. These are important to us.

Fun spot. The sides were the star of the show and whine both the brisket and pulled pork were a bit dry, the baby back ribs were perfect. I loved the Mac n cheese, and the carolina mustard sauce was a delightful win.

This place was absolutely amazing! BBQ was undoubtedly some of the best we’ve ever had. They had 6 different sauces on the indoor tables and each one was stunning! The sides were tried (fries, okra, and mac) were all delicious, but the mac was a different level of amazing.
We appreciated the counter service ordering environment, as well as the fact they didn’t try to upsell you for things like water or extra sauces. Lots of options for kids meals, and everything was excellently priced. Service was also fantastic!

Probably the best BBQ in the N GA Mountains! Always a line, but it moves fast! Or you can order outside and eat on their picnic tables. Definitely recommend when passing through! They also have a system in place, so drinks, boxes, etc are easy to get!
