My husband and I did a photo shoot for new menu items at Big Sur Cantina this afternoon. We had never been there before and were 100% impressed with the super cute decor and ambience, staff and food! By the time the session was done we were salivating and couldn’t wait for a margarita and something to eat. We had a watermelon sugar margarita, a strawberry margarita, carnitas mini chimis, and chori pollo. It was all as delicious as it looked in pictures! We highly recommend it.

Walking in, you can tell the food will be good. We ordered the Cali Burrito, and it is huge. Well worth the money. Chips and salsa is $2.50 but it’s unlimited refills. If it’s your birthday they have a free dessert on their website to claim. Solid 10/10 place to go.

Very quiet place to go eat. The inside is very well decorated. It sucks not to be offered chips snd salsa as other places. Our server was nice, but only came over 2x the entire time we were there. The nachos were ok.

Our dinner here was excellent. We stopped in during the week for a quick dinner. Our server was very friendly and checked in on us multiple times during our visit. The food was delicious, and we will plan to visit here again soon.

Went there for the first time for dinner yesterday, and it was awesome. We ordered a bunch of different tacos and they were all delicious. I loved that there was an option for cilantro lime rice as a side. The decor was really cool and the staff were all very friendly. Will be back!

Quickly becoming one my favorite fall back favorite places for dinner. It can be loud at times. Seating can be tight, but never uncomfortable. They have the most extensive menu of non-alcoholic drinks I have seen. The food is always fast, hot and delicious! I do wish chips and salsa were complimentary, but in this day age, those times are over!

For Valentine’s Day, my partner, and our two friends went to Bigsur. The other couple we were with had been there previously. It was mine & my boyfriend’s first visit. The staff was very welcoming, the restaurant had a ton of cool decor, and the food? The food was amazing! We and the other couple got the Valentine’s Day special. What was included? Glad you asked! Appetizer: guacamole and chips. – Entree: chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas (flambéed tableside)! – Dessert: Flan – included two margaritas on the rocks. It was so filling for such a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

It’s really unfortunate that the service was so poor because the food was tasty. I ordered pickup with the earliest pickup time being 30 minutes out and then waited an additional 30 min when I arrived at the restaurant before I received my food. It appeared as if they just started my order 10 min after I’d already been waiting, as a waiter asked me which meat I’d like in my dish though it was already designated in the pickup order. I should hope it doesn’t take an hour to get food while dining in.
