First time we visited Big Mouths, all I can say is you better bring an appetite. The portions are huge and everything we ate was awesome and enough for a second meal. I highly recommend the snakebites, they were delicious. My wife had the cod sandwich and it looked like it was 3” thick. I had the Italian sandwich and the bread was toasted perfectly and the taste was awesome! The service was great and the place was clean and relaxing. I highly recommend Big Mouths and it’s right across from Rough River Dam State park so bring a boat also

Big Mouth’s is great! We really like the burgers and fish dinners. It’s straight across from the state boat ramp so it’s a convenient place to stop before launching the boat. Also has big wrap around covered porch with tables where you can watch the planes take off at the airstrip across the road. They usually have sporting events on tv so it’s a good place to watch a game as well.

Prices are high. Waiter was nice and refilled water and tea frequently. The appetizer we bought was the snake bites which is onion rings and fries chopped up and queso sauce on them, I told waiter to make sure there was plenty of queso on it. As you can see there is hardly any queso on it so I ask them for more queso they charged me 2.00 for a very small sauce cup. I got the chicken club the chicken was chewy brought home to dogs. Husband got the Italian club sandwich with onion rings, he said it was ok. I personally will not go back, for two of us to have a sandwich with 1 side and 1 appetizer and him a tea and me water was $48 and some change. If their food was exceptional I could maybe see the price but it was just just plain Jane expect something better for them kind of prices.

This is a great place with great food, pretty darn good service. I mean, the staff can’t beat. You will not leave this place hungry. It’s not gourmet food by any stretch, but it is absolutely delicious. In the warmer weather, the outside seating is great. I honestly can’t say what my favorite thing is there. The Onion rings, the cheeseburgers or the various other foods and deserts are all perfect. If you find yourself in that area, there really is no other option in my opinion.

When they named it Big Mouth’s they definitely meant it, the sandwiches are huge. Service was great and the restaurant was very clean. The pros the onion rings may be some of the best I have had. My wife had the cod sandwich and thought it was great. I had the Italian sandwich and it was huge and very delicious. Cons, while the Italian sandwich was great, it was a huge portion of ham, 1 slice of cheese and 1 slice of pepperoni unfortunately no salami to be found. Would have liked to have more than just ham, so I only rated 4 stars. Overall a great place with huge portions and fair prices. We will definitely be back.

The service was excellent and the food was outstanding portions are huge. The Cuban sandwich was spot on the taste was authentic and the size could of feed two people. My wife throughly enjoyed her hamburger with bacon and the fries were some of the best we ever had. The serving of onion rings was plenty and tasted real good. I highly recommend this place and the owners are real friendly.

Stopped I’m last night to grab a bite to eat, not knowing they closed at 8 and got there at like 750. They still seated us! The waitress was super nice and the owners were very nice as well. We were starving and the food definitely hit the spot. We started off with fried pickles and that dipping sauce was FANTASTIC!!! I got the cod with onion rings and it was so fresh and thise onion ring OMG! So fresh and not frozen! My BF got thr Italian sandwich and it was HUGE!!! EVERYTHING was so good!! Will definitely be going back!

Can’t say enough good things about this place! A day on the water.. and this was the perfect place to come have dinner. I got the catfish dinner and it was PERFECT! Portion sizes were more than plenty, and taste was everything I could have asked for! The restaurant is family owned AND operated which makes it even better for me. They were super busy when we walked in but they made sure to talk to everyone and keep them updated. It was well worth the wait!

My family ordered burgers and I chose the catfish meal for myself, it wasn’t the southern battered fished I had read about. Whatever fish I did get was more like seasoned with a season salt. My fries were good but I was not a fan at all of the fish I was served or the slaw! I’m not sure I’d ever order from there again. The two younger ones in there were nice and polite and I appreciate that. But the price though for something that wasn’t edible by myself.
