The place was nice clean. Waitress was nice. I ordered cheese sticks and they came out with no cheese. Over cooked is and understatement. I asked for them to please try again. They then come out cold on the inside. I also ordered the chicken finger plate with fries and a salad. It was very good. However, I’ve been waiting for a ticket to pay and have yet to see anyone. And yes I’m still waiting as I’m typing this. They need to pay more attention to the dining room. There has not been an employee in here since I got my food.

Salad bar was good but small and didn’t have blue cheese salad dressing. Food was big helping the grilled fish was over seasoned. My husband seafood platter was great.

I absolutely love Bigman’s!! It’s just so cozy and relaxing and you don’t have to worry that your food won’t be good because if always is! Try the hamburger steak with gravy & onions with French fries! Mouth watering deliciousness!

The BBQ tasted funky. My fries were overcooked, and my Oreo cake was dried out. This was my first time eating here. The food was a big let down.

I have now been here 2x and each experience gets worse. Wouldn’t have went back this time but unfortunately, coffee shoppe was already closed for the day. Only 2 tables in the whole place! My salad was forgotten until I asked for my bowl. I walked in the bathroom, an employee was changing the paper towels out but yet left the waded up towels that were surrounding the trash can on the floor. I went to pay for my meals and was told by I’m assuming the owner.. to hold on so he could show a video to his employee. This place is by no means concerned about bettering their business or serving their paying patrons but more so on each other’s company and playing around.. “I’m sorry” doesn’t cut it when you continue to play around and ignore paying patrons of your business.

I just had the fried red fish and it was horrible. I took a few bites before the smell kicked in and I couldn’t stand to even have it on the table . It was rotten. I told the waitress and she took it to the kitchen and told the manager and they still changed me full price and never said a word about it. A simple apology would have been nice

I ordered the bbq chicken. No seasoning at all. Awful. Gave me a bowl of sauce. Still didn’t help. Service was ok. My son had a rib sandwich. One rib was cooked so long there wasn’t any meat on the bone. Will never stop here again!!

Great ribeye. Flavor was awesome. Prime R IBM was excellent also. Fried green tomatoes and blackened peas were very good also. The killer was the fried chocolate pie. I mean it was off the hook fabulous!!! Not too sweet fresh fried when it’s ordered. My oh my I’m glad there is not one in Birmingham. I will be taking a road trip in the next few weeks to takeyou husband. It was a great dinner and good service

I don’t like giving bad review you have to go out of your way to get one from me. I wanted a good Steak been thinking about one all day. Pass this place from time to time while I’m working. Decided to carry my wife to this place. A sweet tea and half and half tea was ordered I told her I was thirsty. Had to chase down the other waiter to get more tea. I ordered the a 20 oz Steak, loaded bake potato, house salad (extra money for house salad). My wife ordered Seafood platter. You have to get up and fix your own salad no one said anything to me, I seen another person get up and go to the little bar thing and fix her a salad, I go up there and the lettuce was brown the greens where wilted, tomatoes frozen, a piece of onion, some chesse. When the food came looked good on my end but lookes can be deceiving my steak tasted like they put seafood seasoning on it with a bbq flavor, Loaded bake (a little cheese). My wife seafood platter came with burnt frys. She like the other stuff. Told them we didn’t like it, they did take 10% off. But I will never go back.
