Amazing authentic St. Maarten food. We tried the oxtail, conch, shrimp, snapper and Johnny cakes. Every dish was 10/10 and the company from Biggy and the server was even better. Make the 5 minute walk from the beach – it’s worth it.

Definitely recommend this place if you come to Sint Maarten! It’s a must. As soon as my friends and I got there we were greeted by Biggy immediately. Her energy and vibe are everything. She goes over the menu you with you and breaks things down and makes you feel at home while you wait for your amazing meal to be prepared for you. Everything is made from scratch and if she doesn’t have it she will go to the local store to get the needed ingredients to make your meal. Food was so good we had to go back different day when we were out. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

We had the pleasure of dining at Biggy’s Central last week and the experience was Amazing! The food was EXCELLENT! You can taste the love, time and care put into every recipe. I had the oxtails and jerk chicken plate. I ordered it with the veggie rice with gravy, macaroni pie and salad! Delicious!! The rum punch was out of this world! The flavor was fruity and creamy and the rum was just right!! I think my favorite item on the menu though was the Lemonade and Ginger!! I wasn’t ready for how good it was!! Everything at Biggy’s was a vibe – the food, the music and Biggy herself! So warm and welcoming and full of hospitality! If you ever find yourself even close to Philipsburg, make your way to Biggy’s Central! You won’t be disappointed!

Quick day trip at St Maarten and stumbled upon this place on our way back to the cruise port. Excellent customer service, food was amazing, best part of our visit. Once returning home even looked up a direct flight just to get food- it was that good!

Stumbled upon this roadside bar and I couldn’t be happier. The rum punch was delicious and strong and the jerk chicken platter (which is some of the best Caribbean food I’ve had) came with salad, macaroni pie, seasoned rice, and we ordered a side of fry bread. The platter was enough for both of us!
The lack of prices on the menu worried me at first as a tourist, but the bartender’s warm attitude put me at easy. The prices were pretty standard for tourists/good for the area. Around $50 for four rum punches and a large platter of jerk chicken/sides/fry bread.
Overall, if you’re looking for a laid back vibe with fantastic food and drinks, Biggy’s is the best place on the island!

We ordered the curry chicken and jerk chicken, and both dishes were phenomenal. I opted for the curry chicken, and it was perfectly seasoned and flavorful. Each dish was accompanied by generous portions of rice and peas, potato salad, green salad, and the absolute best macaroni pie I’ve ever tasted—seriously, it was a masterpiece on its own! To wash it all down, we had refreshing glasses of sorrel, which added the perfect touch to an already exceptional meal.
This wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience. Every bite reflected the care and love put into the food. It’s clear Biggy’s Central takes pride in serving up the best of Caribbean cuisine.
