This was the very first time our family had ever been to Mentor. The Lake was so relaxing the wind was just blowing so perfectly, and the park I really didn’t want to leave the people was so nice and made us feel so welcoming. We then topped it off with Biggies Custard shop and they were the sweetest people ever, we came back home to Canton Ohio and told our neighbors and friends about our experience to Mentor on the Lake and everyone said they can’t wait to travel to Mentor and have the same experience my family had.

I came here with my friends to get some ice cream and they messed up my order once which was fine and they remade it no problem, but then I heard them clearly say “I forgot the malt” and then another girl say “don’t tell them” and then handed it to me. Hearing this I told them to remake it with malt please and then they proceeded to make bad comments about me when it was their fault, not mine. I would appreciate if they wouldn’t talk about people they’re serving while they’re by the windows where EVERYONE can hear.

With great flavor variety and different sizes, you can get a quick order of custard to go or get one of their hand dipped cones for a great dessert! I got a vanilla custard with cheesecake pieces. They were definitely generous on the pieces! Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for some great dessert!

I absolutely had to update my review after my friend talked me into going back yesterday 9/19 around 1:30pm. As you can see from the picture, it even looked so good, I had to take a couple bites before I took the picture. This was a total game changer! Now it makes me want to shed a tear they are closing for the year in a few days
