Biggie’s Burgers in Pacific Beach might have just ruined other burgers for me, but in the best way possible. This was one of those rare moments where with that first bite everything pauses for a second and you just think, “Yep…this might be the best burger I’ve ever had.”
The patty had that fresh, beef-forward flavor with just enough char to give it character without drying it out. Something I’ve been keener to wanting in my burgers of late. I used to be pile as many toppings that are not lettuce and tomato on the burger, but now I’m more about the toppings and condiments should hit that perfect balance where they complement the meat instead of hiding it. Biggies nailed it because every bite tasted like a “real” classic burger, not a gimmick.
The bun held up from first bite to last, no crumbling, no sogginess, so I was able to actually focus on enjoying the burger instead of fighting it. The actual restaurant has that laid-back Pacific Beach energy just steps from the water, casual, and easygoing. It’s felt like the locals’ hangout that welcomes everyone. Biggie’s delivers a lean, satisfying burger that somehow manages to be nostalgic and next-level at the same time. So for anyone chasing that “perfect burger by the beach” experience in San Diego, this is a stop that absolutely lives up to the hype.

Definitely a good burger spot and vibe for PB. I came here with high hopes because my friends all recommended this place, and it lived up to the hype. The King Burger meal, being what I got, was huge and the burger alone almost filled me up. Next time I’ll order without pickles because I’m picky, but I got curly fries with my order and my goodness they were good. The regular fries aren’t something I’d go crazy about, but the curly fries and the grilled cheese burger are worthwhile. The service was good too, everyone being super nice and offering other things like condiments and refills. If you’re craving a burger and I’m the area, Id give this place a try

We stopped here after a day at the beach. We were all hungry and this was close to where we parked. I got a burger and it was cooked until it didn’t have a single bit of moisture left in it. My wife’s was about the same. Another person in our group had a chicken sandwich and said it was decent.
Service was also not the best. The person that took our order seemed annoyed that we came in. Not sure if we interrupted their lunch or what not but they were not overly welcoming.
Overall two of the three sandwiches were overcooked to the point that they were dry.

This burger place is delicious. I love their shakes, fries and grilled cheese burger. I’ve never sat down here to eat because i usually door dash but i picked up today for my husband and I (he’s a big foodie and he loved it too) and inside is so nice. Can’t wait to crave this again so we can sit and eat here. Service was very nice. 10/10

I love this place so much I use to come down all the time when I worked up the street.
They have a pretty simple menu and you’re able to customize the burgers anyway you want . They have shakes and soda.
Their curly fries and onion rings are so tasty and they don’t have the greasy residue as some other diners have.
They have bar seating looking onto the street and regular tables inside with a giant TV in the middle on the wall.
Parking is a little hard because it’s street parking. They have a small parking lot nearby.
This is one of the best burgers I’ve tried so far in San Diego. It’s always moist, the seasoning is so tasty, and I love the amount of shredded lettuce they put on.

We got the Hamburger, fries and shake combo and everything was delicious, specially hamburger . It was my first time trying this combination and it was pretty heavy for me. I couldn’t finish all of them and took the shake home. Service was good as well.

I just had the most delicious gluten free burger and skinny fries!! I wish i took a pic but i ate it so fast. One of the best GF buns I’ve had! You can also do a lettuce wrap or hamburger bowl instead for GF. And the service is amazing, the woman who took our order was so sweet and patient sharing the GF options

Easily one of the most delicious burgers I’ve ever had. The staff is very polite and make sure you have a great customer experience. The place was really clean inside. They have a bathroom that is also very clean, along with a handwashing sink just outside the bathroom. The fries were pretty good.

If your on the beach and have that burger craving Biggie’s burger is the place you need. Everything was made to order. The fries came out hot and were very delicious. The burgers we ordered were perfectly cooked to our liking. I would definitely be back the next time we are in town.
