Updated review: Gave them another chance using the app. Arrived and told the app was down when telling them EXACTLY what I ordered, along with my name. They refused to refund me and didn’t bother offering to make my order AT ALL. Told me I had to wait for their system to reboot! I was on my way to work and didn’t have time for them to goof around with their machine! I completely understand technology failures, but what I don’t understand is the problem with MAKING the drinks I ordered after I told them what they were! Dear Lord! Literally every excuse has been made by this location on too many occasions! Perhaps READ your reviews and attempt to get better. There’s a reason Starbucks has a line while your store and drive through were COMPLETELY empty!

This Gull Road location needs to get their staff under control. Several times now when I go in, they have either taken my money and never made my order, or they have done it to another customer—in the store. And they are standing there for a stupid amount of time waiting while the girls goof off behind the counter—completely oblivious to the customer still waiting. They’ve also made food wrong for me on several occasions. I don’t say anything because I don’t want to be a Karen over it— but it isn’t right and the behavior is consistent.

Today, I attempted to order at the drive in and ordered a “London fog with vanilla syrup”. The girl (who I’m nearly certain is the tall dark haired manager/assistant manager because I have been in quite a bit and notice who is who) argued with me over the drink and said they don’t make them in the store and told me me what they COULD make. She told me that they could make—including the ingredients. I told her a London fog is just earl gray, cream, and vanilla syrup. She then went on to school me about the drink and how it’s a Starbucks drink that they don’t have the ingredients for.

PLEASE talk to your staff about their condescending behaviors. PLEASE educate your barista on basic drinks they CAN make and DO have the ingredients for.

PLEASE make sure they know their know-it-all attitude lost a customer today. I’m a regular, and my employees pick up drinks for the team here regularly—but we won’t be anymore. I’m entirely sick of being treated poorly when we are paying absurd amounts for drinks AND tipping your staff WELL.

I am giving two stars because while I liked my drink I didn’t like the service. There were 4 women behind the counter and I was the only customer. I waited at one end of the counter and then the other. For a good two minutes I just waited and waited. Finally one came to take my order. After another 5 minutes I got my drink. No one said hello,thank you or smiled. I felt they didn’t care. It was my first time here and I will never go back .

Me and my girlfriend went to Bigby on Gull rd today, and it would be an understatement to say our service was less than desirable. First off, we had gone into the drive through, and waited for at least 2 minutes without a word from the speaker. It was at the point where we decided to drive around the building to park and go inside, where we found that nobody was in the window and the headset was left unattended. When we got inside, the cashier at the register had an AirPod in, and took our order, I ordered a scuba, a drink I’ve had before and thought was pretty good, and my girlfriend ordered a lavender honey latte. We were then prompted to pay, and I did not leave a tip. The cashier then went to make the drinks, my girlfriend then took her card out too early and the transaction got canceled, we had tried to get the cashiers attention, but either she was busy talking to her friend, who was a across the counter, or her music was too loud to hear us, it was only after my girlfriends drink got handed to us that we got help, and that’s only because she saw the “transaction cancelled” notice on the screen, and not because she heard us. While she was making the drinks, one of her coworkers came out, looked at me, then me and my girlfriend’s drinks that were being made, and smiled. My girlfriend’s drink was handed out first, and it was good. The problem was with my drink, after another minute of waiting, she handed me my drink, I said thank you, and we left. When I tried my drink it was like my mouth was being hit my a bus full of citric acid, it was unbearably sour, and I ended up throwing it away, half full, when I got home, because it was making my stomach hurt. I believe that the cashier who served me saw me leave no tip, and decided to make my drink incorrectly by adding way too many pumps of the blue raspberry syrup. I also believe her coworker saw her doing this, and that’s what led her to smile. And at the end of the day, if she made the drink like that on accident, that’s worse.
In short, it was a sub-par experience to say the least, and my drink did end up giving me a stomachache. But my girlfriend’s drink was good, and that is why I’m leaving two stars instead of one.
TL;DR: if a heavyset, curly haired, blonde woman is serving you with an AirPod in, go somewhere else unless you like an upset stomach.

Friendly, wonderful staff. Biggbys is generously allowing Grand Valley Artists to display art. My art is fine art photography. Thank you Biggbys and the staff at Gull Road. My favorite is the French Roast with half and half. Not fancy, but oh so good.
