I made a quick pit stop at this BIGGBY location. Entering the store I was quick to notice how clean it was. It feels like this is a brand new location. The bathrooms were spotless and overall/kitchen and amenities looked well kept. I ended up succumbing to getting their Asiago bagel which is absolutely delicious. I do wanna note the exceptional service provided by the workers here. Manager Jess was presentable, friendly and attended to all my questions and needs. The staff here really seem like they were all in sync with a bright aura to them. I drive by Chesterton on my way to Michigan fairly often, and while it is a bit of a detour off the highway, I will definitely be back at this location!

One of my favorite coffee stops before getting on the toll road. I normally stop here every time I’m heading back towards New England. This time I tried an iced spotted owl latte and the French onion turkey ciabatta sandwich. If you love French onion soup, then this is a sandwich you def need to try! It’s so flavorful and will keep you full for hours.

Terrible service. Drive-thru: Placed my order, pulled up to the window. Sat and sat and sat. 4 people in there, all scurrying around. Nobody even opened the window to say it’ll be a minute – not even to take my money, either. After 4, 5 solid minutes, I drove off. Went to Starbucks on Indian Boundary Road. Excellent service there.

I love getting coffee here when in the neighborhood. Might be a little bit more than Starbucks in price but so much more delicious and I like supporting a small business. They have such tasty and creative drinks. Well crafted with love. I love the Spotted Owl latte with oat milk. Service is always super friendly and fast.

Don’t over pay! Ask for your receipt! I could be totally wrong about this but the situation was handled so poorly I left feeling cheated. My girlfriend and I ordered (2) $9 deals no extras, expecting the total to be $19 n some change. Were curious how our total was $21.59. Cuz in my mind 18×0.07=1.26 so yeah $19.26 is what I expected to pay. So asking the worker at the window where the $2.33 come from she said “I’m not sure”, “I don’t know”. The reason I feel cheated is that giving me my receipt was not an option with this worker. Just feels like a 12% self tip trying to fly under the radar.

In Chesterton, the only Starbucks is in the Jewel grocery. So Biggby coffee east of the toll road junction and SR 49 is convenient and easy access. While their drinks are mixed differently, they are great and don’t take a back seat to Starbucks. The staff is kind and helpful, the place is clean and neat. It is behind AJ pizza.
