This place is delicious!! Outstanding service from our server today. We ordered burgers which were outstanding for the kids, the chicken nachos as appetizers which are a must!! I had the Asian salad, it had more pepper than I normally like, but it was very fresh. The wings, fish and chips, shrimp and grits, and the margaritas were all delicious.

Stopped at the restaurant because several people recommend it. It is a bit of sports bar and we did have about a 45 minute wait for 6 top table. The atmosphere was great. Did have to speak up a little when having a conversation but not too bad. Wished other guest would be more respectful to the tables around them. The food was great as well! If you’re into fried green tomatoes, this would be a great place to stop and eat some! The Steak Burrito Bowl was great along with the blackened fish tacos. They do have move music playing on the patio every now and then.

Since we were here in the off-season, there was no wait. We chose to sit inside since they had a local talent outside singing. It was a little loud for our taste, but that is right up the alley for this places marketing.
Tanner was a really good server. He made suggestions, tried to upset, and was making sure we had everything we need.
The food was good, not great. I had the chicken & waffles with gouda grits, and my wife had the Fish & Chips.The chicken was cooked to temp with a nice crust. All was cooked to a perfect temp with nice crust. Just needs salt. Same fir the grits. Lack of overall flavor for this deep south Georgia boy.
Overall though, it really was a good experience.

Much better that their other location! Waiter was very helpful, burger was good, chicken and waffles really good too. Hit this same restaurant again on Feb 7. Very inconsistent. Ordered the grits again, this time asked for no sauce but just drizzle butter, much better. The biggest disappointment; the street corn which was really good at the other restaurant was so salty here it couldn’t be eaten. Drive for consistency. It tasted like the sauce they served me last time over the shrimp only with a ton more salt. Not good. Do better!!

Nice place to stop at and have a quick bite to eat. Fairly cheap meal ideas but there is not much offered. Would recommend the Sugar Cookie Martini. Wings were ok, nothing special about them besides a tad over cooked. Husband enjoyed his tacos. He got to keep his beer plastic mug and if used around town (besides the Mexican restaurant) you get a discount on refills.

Bigg Daddy’s Restaurant was my partners and I favorite dinner spot in Helen, GA. The service was amazing, specifically their recent hire, Tanner who was overall the best waiter I’ve had the pleasure of meeting maybe ever. He was bubbly, very helpful in where to park, what spots to visit and what the best things on the menu were. My boyfriend got the center cut sirloin with Gouda mac & cheese, and a baked potato. While I do not eat steak he gave a good review 4/5. The Gouda mac & cheese was my personal favorite. It was rich and cheesy and had wonderful flavor. The baked potato was also very good. I got a chicken burrito bowl. Now I wasn’t significantly satisfied with the bowl. While it was decent, I feel the chicken was lacking a bit of flavor and overall it kind of just made the dish bland 3/5. And for dessert, we got a cookie sandwich. The cookie was a bit cold, perhaps due to the ice cream however, the dessert was still very good and if the cookies were warmer, it would have been a 5/5, still I’d rate it a 4/5. Overall I love Bigg Daddy’s, so much that my family and I came the night after my boyfriend and I had went, to have dinner again. If I ever find myself back in Helen, I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again. Ask for Tanner, you won’t regret it!!

I had Cajun pasta, fried green tomatoes, garlic bread. Our waiter Ashton was great!. The food was hot, tasty and awesome!The atmosphere was pleasant too. No pics but my sisters had the lemon pepper wings & the raspberry jalapeño wings, they were awesome too, cooked crispy, full of seasoning and flavorful.

Helen is one of my fav places to go when I visit GA, but I had never been in Bigg Daddy’s. I took my fam visiting from PR for their 1st time n we parked by Big Daddy’s n she said Id like to go eat there. Loooooved the great service, the food spectacular the personel amazing, kind n friendly. Hubby and I will def be back n visiting family amazed w the food, they loved it all. Great spot for great food! We timed it right and got right in before a big crowd…they are able to sit large groups, which is great for all the vacationers we saw in town. The staff were friendly and hopping. Our server checked in on us multiple times and despite being busy, we never felt rushed.
The food did not disappoint. We left with full bellies! Highly recommend!
