Our first visit on a Saturday night was great. It was relaxing to be there as the staff was very helpful and calm considering how busy they were. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced for the huge portions. We will definitely be back!

Well…. I’ll put it this way. The beer was cold but unfortunately so was the food. After sitting 35min to receive our food. Mine was Cold. With was a shame because the Brisket had a good flavor to it. but it was actually cool to the touch. The “Queso” Mac & Cheese was also cold and bland. Example: I turned the bowl of Mac & Cheese upside down and shook it… It stayed in the bowl. The Beans also Cold… Let not fail to mention We were told to feel free and grab a table (it was packed). Which was never wiped down, until we had to wipe it down ourselves. On a Bright Note, my friend that was with me said the Ruben and Tater Tots were ok.

I’m always at Uwharrie and in the Troy area with my daughter and I have passed this place many times. My daughter and I are always looking for Bigfoot so what better place to stop at! The girl behind the bar that waited on us was super nice and got our drinks and food orders right away. I had the chicken philly with peppers and fries and my daughter had a quesadilla. My food was awesome! It came out hot, the bread was nice and soft and airy on the outside and toasted to a golden brown on the inside. The chicken with peppers and onions added a great flavor to compliment the bread. And who doesn’t like crinkle fries mine were cooked to a golden perfection. My daughter’s cheese quesadilla was huge and she also, enjoyed her food as well. The bar was really big with lots of seating, several pool tables and more. It was clean comfortable and inviting and we felt welcomed. We know now where to eat for great food at a fair price whenever we are in this area. So if you’re ever in the area please stop by and support this place I promise you won’t be disappointed we really enjoyed it. Thank you to the staff at Bigfoots

The food was delicious. I got the Sasquash Slammer sandwich with house chips, my husband got the patty melt with onion rings, & we got a cheese pizza for our daughter. Everything was great. I’ve never tasted the beer in beer battered onion rings as much as I did with these. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that I have to wonder how non white people would feel here. There are a lot of confederate flags in the area & this is clearly a motorcycle bar… All in all, though, this is a pleasant surprise for a middle of nowhere place & is great for a post hiking meal.

So the only bar and grill that is anywhere near us is Tiffany’s and it is one of the worst places to eat in the state of North Carolina unless you want to be cussed out by the manager and eat greasy food that is so overpriced it doesn’t even make sense. Bigfoot bar and grill was a bit out of the way for us but we thought we’d give it a chance. We saw their menu online and thought it was very reasonable.
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It seemed to have a pretty good atmosphere and there were families and children there as well. The bar was absolutely huge and it was completely full but it did not stop our waitress from waiting on us.
She took our order and we had our food in a reasonable amount of time. Now here was the shocker the burgers and I’m talking just the basic cheeseburger was huge. I even had to ask her if she was sure that was the right burger and she said oh yeah we live up to our name. And she was 100% correct the burger was so large I was only able to eat half of it and ended up taking two more days to finish it and all the chips.
and oh my God the Sasquatch fries were amazing chili and cheese galore we even had enough left over to pour on the rest of my husband’s french fries.
They have games for kids and plenty of pool tables for the adults. It did not seem rowdy and unlike our own bar and grill in town we were treated with respect which was a pleasant surprise.
We will absolutely be back I was a great experience and all the Sasquatch gear was an added Plus. The kids loved it we loved it it was a win-win all the way around and the price was so reasonable even with appetizers. You absolutely get the bang for your buck here.

Rode down here with a group of friends. Got the Sasquatch Burger with house chips. The burger was absolutely delicious and so big. Our server did a great job handling our large group, although it was not very busy otherwise. Definitely worth it to make a trip down here.

Although we’ve not eaten at this place YET we have met the owners. They are waking up early and going to bed late to serve hot meals in Swannanoa. Super sweet couple and hard working individuals serving free hot meals shows how amazing you guys are.

This is a hidden gem for Bikers and Rock Crawlers or anyone just out for a cruise. They have a great bar and plenty of seating inside. The waitresses are always friendly and take great care of you. They serve burgers and grill type foods. They also have pool tables and an area out back for concerts.
