Visiting the area for hiking and relaxation and gave this place a try for dinner. Placed order online with very user-friendly website and picked up order at restaurant. Finding authentic, delicious Mexican cuisine in Middle Tennessee is no easy task, and this place nailed it. We also ordered the flan and cheese dip — so yummy! We will certainly visit this restaurant again next visit!

First of all, let me explain I very seldom ever give an over all 5 star rating. As you will notice, the post has broken it down into categories and this place gets a 5 star rating where it counts. The reason I visited this establishment was to attend and participate in an open mic night. The front room where the performers were was small and crowded. The professionalism of the host and the willingness of the participants made it work.
Where this establishment does get 5 stars is the food was delicious, and the staff was quite nice. I always order a nacho any time I go to a new Mexican restaurant just to get an indication of what kind of cheese they have. I believe it was the second best nacho I’ve ever eaten. The first was at Wrigley Field at a Cubs game back in the 80s. I’ll definitely be back with my family.

Very expensive, Speedy service. Probably because it was empty. 26.00 for a Chile poblano and guacamole Casero (witch was very good) and a side sour cream. 11 + 8 + .75. I guess local taxes must be high? That’s for one person, almost $30, Service was great. Blonde was cute.

The salsa was not flavorful, but it did feel freshly made and had a very comfortable spice level. The chips were crunchy… a little firm, but good. They looked to be machine made on site. The taco salad was similar: fresh, inoffensive, but not flavorful. Mine was missing the guacamole. Service was excellent.

Wife and I were in town for a concert at the caverns. Stopped here for and early dinner. She ordered the 2- enchiladas plate (chicken and ground beef) and I had the quesadilla grande (chicken). Both were excellent. Not sure what they marinate their chicken in but I really loved it. We’ll definitely be stopping there again for our next concert
