Bigalora Wood Fired Cucina is a healthy pizza place while not that yummy.

Was amazed by their philosophy upon being seated, saw the explanation of BIGA and a big sign saying “No Commercial Yeast”, plus the red-brick wall and giant fired stove, the expectation was then set high.

Ordered their Capricciosa (Red Pizza) and Prosciutto Di Parma (White Pizza), both ok but was not impressed, for people who like simple taste especially the pure flavor of dough, might like it, but I was looking for more.

Our server was Danielle she made sure that we were informed of all of the options on the menu and drink options including mocktails. She had a great recommendations and topped it all off with a great conversation the food was fantastic everything was made to order and we also work formed of things we could add to the pizzas and things that could be taking off. And it’s a plus. You can tell that Danielle takes pride in her work and takes the time to have a conversation about all the questions that her guests have. Who was delicious absolutely freshly made. The food came very very fast and was very very hot. The starters were delicious we got the wings and all had personal pizzas. Definitely will continuously recommend this restaurant to others specifically this location. Thank you Danielle for all your help and service professionalism.

Order said 30 min. Showed up 35 minutes and my pizza a sitting on a shelf, noheat lamp which is no big deal since i assumed it was just finished recently When hostess asked where’s the pasta the 2 cooks had the “oh crap we forgot” look on there face and scrambled to go make it. Sat there for over 25 more minutes while they threw the pasta together. Hostess Handed me cold pizza off the shelf that has been there for at least 30 minutes. No sorry, didn’t throw it back in to hear it up for another minute or two, just I’ve cooked soggy pizza and rushed pasta that tasted like heavy cream and noodles. Nothing like Alfredo, no butter, no salt no touch of Parmesan or garlic. Just heavy cream . And to make matters worse the pizza was only cooked on one side. This is ridiculous, manager would not come to the phone when I asked to speak to someone about bringing this back to get this redone

We came to celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary. The food was unbelievably good and the service was even better. Danielle went out of her way to make sure we felt welcomed and added to our special day. She recommended the Pistachio pizza, which was top notch. We also had the Focaccia bread and spaghetti and shrimp pasta, finished it off with Salted Caramel Parfait and a cannoli. If you’re looking for good food this is the place. The sour dough bread makes everything amazing.

Very impressed with the menu. Have been wanting to try it for a while and finally went. They have vegan cheese and can pretty much make any pizza if you are on a dairy free diet. I also had the beet salad and it was the best one I’ve ever had. Our server was exceptional. Highly recommend it.

We had a party of 10 to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday. This is the 3rd year in a row that she has chosen Bigalora’s for her celebration and it’s easy to see why.

The staff is wonderful. Our sever, Seth, was so personable, knowledgeable, and fun…he felt like part of the family. He treated us warmly and with humor (which we loved.) The rest of the staff–hostess stand, cooks, bussers–every time we encountered one, they were pleasant and kind.

The food is always outstanding. We love their pizzas and pastas. The staff serves food as soon as it hits the window and the pizzas are always hot and fresh. The staff make sure you have enough room on your table for several pizzas. It is fun to share and try slices of each other’s pizzas.

We love the warm atmosphere that feels like an upscale version of home.

Here’s hoping our daughter choses Bigalora for her 19th birthday as well.

We had our wedding welcome dinner here on 6/28/24 and couldn’t have imagined a better evening. The room, food and service was impeccable. We worked with the GM, Mary on this for over a year and she was incredibly patient and helpful from start to finish. Her and her team were not just professional but attentive, accommodating and fun! This was a 12/10 evening!!!

I am giving Bigalora a 5 this time because the beet salad was the very best salad I have eaten in 2025. My sister had the arugala salad which is also excellent. But the beet salad with the delicious goat cheese, fresh greens and nuts, delicious slightly crunchy beets, an elegant dressing… I also appreciate Bigalora’s excellent red sauce on the pizzas. Perfect (sorry about the photo’s poor lighting)

The food here is amazing, but we had a terrible experience getting it. During lunch, our four dishes came out every 20 minutes. They ended up taking off a dish because we had been there so long (which we appreciate). The last dish we were waiting on was served to a table right next to us who arrived after us. Certainly understand staffing issues, but the original dish was ice cold before all were served. They were very kind about it, and i think it was a bad day. Id go again.
