First off, super friendly people/owners. That’s always such a big thing for me.
The ribs were delicious. The fried okra was good as well. The hushpuppies were pretty standard.
It’s a very small place. It only seats about 15 or so, but it seems like most folks get takeout. I’d recommend.

My girlfriend and I ate here yesterday. We both ordered the same thing (pulled pork, okra, fries and hog balls). Everything was delicious. The pork was super tender and the sauce was awesome. The Okra was some of the best ive ever had, and the fries were seasoned well. The Hog Balls were tasty, but not my jam. The girlfriend loved em though. The food was great, the price was fair, and the service was good. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely nothing compares! The porksteak is the best porksteak you will ever eat. 2inches thick and you can eat it with a spoon!! Their bbq sauce is simply perfect, the right amount of smokey sweet and spicy. Alao, dont forget to get the green beans and baked beans, they top notch as well! Don’t skip this place and make sure you arrive early they will sell out of the porksteak before dinner time!

Traveling through the area. Heard stories about the St. Louis Pork Steak. Had to try it! Was fork tender and delicious!! Also one of the few places you can still get fried Okra in the US. Got mine to-go.

Brisket was good. Noteworthy sides were hush puppies and okra. Fries and macaroni & cheese were okay. Atmosphere was excellent. Definitely a fan of the Three Stooges. Forgot to take a pic of our food!

Hands down the best barbecue in the St. Louis area! As a former Texas native I would put Woody’s brisket up there with some of the best I’ve ever had. I stop by here every time I’m in the area and I’ve never once been disappointed with the food.
Oh, and if they happen to have a bottle of their “Hog Fire” sauce I recommend buying one. It’s spicy but sounded good!

Absolutely delicious”HillBilly” Philly served on toasty bread and topped by a great selection of bright peppers and melty cheese with a brisket so nice and greasy it leaves the bun soggy in just the right places. The menu selection is huge for the size of this little gem and the bacon Mac and cheese is to die for. Also, well worth mentioning is the Applejack’s Sauce that the wonderful waitress brought beside my waffle-cut sweet potato fries. All this is a cramped but moderately clean dive.

A small dining area but the food is large in flavor. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich platter and a shredded chicken sandwich platter. I can’t say anything bad about the meal. Tender flavorful pork, skinny French fries and Cole slaw was the perfect meal. The smoke on the pork and chicken was perfect. The seasoning on the fries set them apart from any other restaurant. We can’t wait to go back and try the ribs and pork steak. Definitely recommend if you are looking for great BBQ.
