I really love coming here for lunch before going to Publix! I have had so many different things and they are all good but my favorite is the Sloppy Pig!! Yummo!! My husband loves the sliced pork sandwich on garlic bread! The meat is not dry and their sauces are great!! My go to place in Live Oak!!!

Absolutely delicious. Cute little salad bar. The French dip sandwich (i cant remember if that was the name or if it was a different name) was the best ive ever had at a restaurant! The meat was so tender and full of flavor. The toasted bread swiped with butter. DIVINE! My husband said the pork was great and u definitely can taste the smoke cooked into it. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was nice. Cool taxidermy animals to look at. Will definitely return!

Stopped in for lunch while traveling to Lakeland. I was surprised at how many vehicles were outside, considering it was 1:30. I soon found out why – service was great, food was very good, and prices were reasonable. This was the first time I had fried ribs which is apparently a specialty of theirs – yummy.

Stopped on our way back to Jacksonville from Panama City Beach, was told it was good by a friend of mine, it was not too bad. The bbq was on the plus side of average, the sauces were good, a little on the sweet side though. The service was good, almost too attentive at times, but it was super slow.

The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfectly balanced between casual and upscale. Every detail showed real care and quality, making the whole experience unforgettable. Wow this place is amazing! Probably the best St. Louis cut ribs I’ve ever had. The service was awesome and friendly. Great atmosphere and they have parking for big rigs. I parked my 63 for long motorhome rig without any problems. My photos just can’t convey how tender and juicy the ribs are.

It’s not very good. Ordered baby back ribs, got Saint Louis. Trust me there is a difference between Saint Louis and Baby backs. Bbq sauce is runny. Baked beans are doctored up from a can. Horseradish dip for the onion is supposed to be homemade. Maybe they ran out of the homemade Horseradish sauce and had to use Kraft or some other prepared brand in a bottle? I should have known to never trust a BBQ restaurant that doesn’t always have brisket on the menu.

Hubby had the fried pork chops..massive, tender, crunchy fried and delish!
The mashed potatoes are so good.
I had the smoked turkey, sweet potato and green beans. All perfect. I was stunned at the portion size of the turkey. There’s 3-4 meals for me there. Honest. Wonderful flavor!
It is super clean inside and out.
Bathrooms are large, clean and fresh.
Plenty of parking for anything you’re driving.
The decor is homey, comfy with a hunt cabin feel.
Animal mounts are everywhere.
A/C works a little too well! It was chilly on a 90 degree day, but that’s a-ok!! Perfect for good smells and great eats.
Nice, fresh, cold salad bar too!
We had drinks, big appetizer plate, 2 full meals, salad bar… Big doggie bag to bring home too. $50 plus our tip. Worth every dollar.

Love this restaurant! My husband and I would stop by for lunch or supper while traveling from Jacksonville to Pensacola and then Pensacola to Jacksonville when visiting our family in Pensacola for years. We moved back to Pensacola area 5 years ago and have not been able to make it back. Today we were headed to 75 and we stopped for lunch. Definitely not disappointed. We got the 1/2 rack of ribs, just melted in our mouth. Baked potato perfect and love the beans.
What a wonderful start to our vacation. Can’t wait to we get to go back.
Forgot to take a picture before we ate, our mouths was watering to much.
