Back in the 90s when they were located in the Taunton mall I always ordered & enjoyed the food. I moved in 2002 and now returned to the area.
Ordered the Happy Family and it was very good, vegetables were fresh, everything cooked perfectly and once again tasted great.
Also ordered the sweet & sour chicken, was cooked perfectly, batter was golden with the perfect crisp & chicken was tender.
White rice was good and the pork fried was kinda bland, but adding soy sauce helped it out. The rice was fresh and cooked perfectly.
The driver was prompt and very nice & the food arrived hot, thank you very much. ( don’t forget to tip the driver if being delivered )
The bottom line is that all my reviews are 100% honest, I gave Big Wong 5 stars based on my entire experience & food quality. Taking into account they are not a big eat in restaurant. For a much smaller size place with a smaller crew they did a very good job all around and deserve this 5 star review when comparing to other small Chinese food restaurants.

I LOVVEEEE THE NEW BIG WONG ABSOLUTELY AMAZING…. My husband and I tried ordering from a different Chinese food restaurant the other night huge mistake will never ever second doubt or second guess big Wong ever again this is my most favorable go to Chinese restaurant around town will never cheat on you guys again LOL my favorite hair is the crab rangoon in pork fried rice and my husband loves the chicken teriyaki & beef teriyaki sandwiches as well as a lo mein of any kind!!!! Literally the worst place to get food from! Save yourself the money and headache! Because when they inevitably mess your order up there will be no accountability for fixing it! I’ve tried to give them a few chances because I understand off days! But honestly, I should’ve learned. We ordered a PuPu platter and yeah it’s on us for not double checking the menu but every other time we’ve ordered it we got crab Rangoon which we figured was just a normal item with the platter! My wife even asked the guy on the phone about subing something out for crab Rangoon and he said no subs but crab Rangoon in there already. Ok. Get home we have nasty curry wontons that are burnt to a crisp ! Chicken fingers dried out! Chicken wings with barely any meat and a handful of spare ribs! I call them asking about the Rangoon and the lady is dismissive and rude damn near hangs up on me, I was willing to actually spend more money on an order of them since that is my favorite item! And although all the other food look garbage I knew there was no shot I was getting my money back we’ve tried that before too! “No refund no refund you didn’t say you didn’t say” right… so go to literally any other Chinese food spot in the Taunton areaAVOID BIG WONG!!! We made the mistake it’s on us but I’m trying to help the next guy hopefully ! Not to mention the rancid smell in the restaurant that is very off putting! Horrible experience 1 star service rating if I could go 0 I would! 1 star atmosphere for sure! Dirty and smelly! And the food is general so 2 stars cause it’s pretty basic!

Do not eat at the big wong after I came home from work I order take out around 9 pm on Friday I got noodles broccoli and white rice when I opened the takeout box and poured it onto my plate this came out of it it’s some sort of bug or something idk what it is but it’s disgusting

I’ve ordered here many times and the food is always fantastic. I’ve also had them cater parties for 300+ people and the food is always a hit. Their bourbon chicken is awesome, I always pick some up when ordering.

Place is legit so gross and dirty I don’t even understand how the Taunton Health department hasn’t shut them down yet honestly I worked in the restroom business for 20 years. I don’t think it can be hectic when it’s busy especially on a Friday and Saturday but this place is playing out disgusting. They had buckets of chicken wings pre-cooked sitting near the fryer later waiting for orders you can’t pre-cook chicken like that and have it just sitting there and then take a couple pieces every time somebody orders it’s just plain out disgusting not clean at all.

Definitely a hole in the wall place. They’ve introduced some new dishes and they seem to be really trying to mix up their menu. I got the bourbon chicken Silver City meal with white rice. Gives me the Nostalgia of the Silver City Galleria Mall Saku Japan. 10 out of 10 would reminisce again. Portions are insane.
