Just wanted to drop a quick note on this place. We stopped here on a whim on the way through. I like finding out of the way places and this place fit the bill. The name? The kinda isolated location? Figured we were rolling into a small town dive bar. Totally wrong. Turns out it’s a really nice place. Food was great, great portions, staff was friendly. Our kids even liked it. LOL. We’ve stopped a second time since then and had the same experience. I’ve got them pinned on my map so we can hit them up when we’re passing through. If it catches your eye at all, go check it out. Only somewhat negative I might have is that I think I remember it taking just a little bit to get your food, but it wasn’t anything excessive and the food coming out wasn’t something that’s been sitting around all day, so we were OK with it. Just don’t want to send someone there that’s trying to make a fast food stop.

I felt i had to give them another review after seeing people complaining about their wait while others just arriving went ahead of them. This is not a fast food restaurant. You can make reservations as all those people that were seated before you did. The pond is a pond not a pool so it’s going to look dirty because,well ,the water is in a big dirt hole. The food has always been good but mixed drinks not so much. Been here at least 10 times and the waitress NEVER has a current beer list. She could write it down or manager could supply that daily. That is the reason for the 4 stars. It’s always clean and I always see customers smiling and appear to be enjoying food.

What a wonderful place! Food was really well-prepared. Had to try the fried portobello mushroom slices. Tasted great.
Nice light breading. Crunchy and the taste and texture of the portobello was spot on! Loaded baked sweet potato wedges had the right amount of dark brown sugar and just enough marshmallow for taste. But the BEST part was the cinnamon butter. WOW! Briley was a superstar server! Kudos all around!

Went there on date night. Baylee was our waitress. She was great and I would go back just for her salads! We have been going here for a while but this was the best salad I ever got there much less anywhere else. Also The pork chops are phenomenal!!

The food was fresh and hot. It was definitely not frozen food! The salad was huge, the chicken special was very reasonable in price. Our server was new but very pleasant. She found out it was mine and my daughter’s birthday and brought us a piece of birthday cake. We sat downstairs and I do agree with some, it could use some cleaning and maintenance, but overall still good. Everything came out timely. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience. We will be back!

Stopped at this cool joint today while riding the bike. They have a nice spot to park your bike and the great food. The food was super quick and they have fresh specials daily. Tried the shrimp as well as the catfish both absolutely delicious. Waitress could have been a little more knowledgeable as we asked a few questions and she had to ask someone else. That’s the only reason for the four stars otherwise the food and atmosphere is a five star.

Made a hour drive just to test the waters. When we walked in the host took us to our seats, which was an area of lone tables, we asked for one of the many available booths. At first everyone was caught off guard a said no, then they worked it out an accommodated. The atmosphere was diner mixed with pub. The wife froze in almost a shiver, older lady behind us had her hoodie up. When leaving they discovered heat wasn’t on. We laughed it off.
Britney was our server. She was superb! Easy to talk to, very willing to make us have a good experience. Appetizers I ordered trio sampler; wings, portobello fries, & cheese curds. It was ehhh. You can only do so much though with frozen, fried appetizers. Due to my own error I got excited seeing “Willy’s wings”, & didn’t see boneless part. They were basically chicken nuggets. Over cooked at that. Highly don’t recommend those unless you have a kid with you. Britney offered to take them off the bill, but I refused. Food came out in good timing.
For our dinners I ordered their 8oz. Wagyu, w/shrimp. Fries, & coleslaw for my sides. Also ordered bluegill fillets as an add on. The fillets were good. Had a light batter that seemed to fall off. Myself I prefer a more crunch batter. Fries were small in portion. Steak was tasty, but was like a regular steak. Couldn’t identify the wagyu. Cole slaw was good, as well as my side of mushrooms.
My wife got the fillet, fries, Brussels with brown sugar. She liked her steak, said Brussels were so so, lacking in seasoning an brown sugar only on the bottom.
Over all I give a 6.9 score. Total bill for the 2 of us was $168 with tip. Tasted fine yes, but didn’t set itself apart from say Road house. An I’m not a chain guy. Myself I’d like to see my steak a thicker cut versus wider. The money didn’t match up. Wife’s fillet I think was $40 bucks. Those prices are close to legit steak house prices. So that’s my review. P.S. Willy, get some real wings. A give Britney a pat on the back.

By far the worst meal I have ever had. I wouldn’t take it home to my dog. The broccoli was under cooked and the ribs were over cooked. The ribs tasted like a charcoal biscuit with BBQ sauce. The steak my mom and stepdad ordered well done and they were bleeding when they got them. And moms mac and cheese……. She needs to get a new job because it was Gross!!!

We went there for a good burger fix and found it. I had the Big Pig Burger. I’d like to try other things on their menu, but I’d definitely order that burger again. I look forward to coming to this place with friends when it gets warmer.
