In Chicago for work and I popped in here for lunch after looking at the menu through the window! I’m so glad I did. Time was short but I didn’t want greasy fast food and this place really delivered. I had two citrus agave skirt steak tacos and they were fantastic. The meat was juicy and tender. The flavours were authentic. The prices are great. Everything had a homemade taste, and service was lightning fast and friendly.

I have to update this post. The burrito did have enough meat, It was improperly wrapped. There was all beans on one half of the burrito and the other half was beans. The flavor was amazing. The preparation of the burrito was not up to my personal standards.

A MIRACLE after a long night of dancing!! I needed to refuel with something filling, tasty and nutritious, and Big Wig came through!!! Was just a short walk from where I’m staying, and the fact it’s open 24hrs SAVED me at almost 3am. The service was wonderful–the lady working the register was super nice!! I got the chicken bowl, and oh my lord, I eat a lot of chicken tex mex bowls, but this was seriously delicious!! Filling and tasted very fresh, even the chips! The vibe was also very chill and peaceful which was perfect to relax as I wound down. I also got to try their homemade horchata–SO GOOD!! I asked for their recommendation, so they did a mix of the strawberry and original–yes made with REAL strawberries–and it was like strawberry milk, but 100′ better!! What a treat!! Truly cannot recommend Big Wig Tacos highly enough, thanks for being the perfect end to a great night! And to the lady working the counter–sorry I didn’t get your name, but thank you for your help!! ✨️

Visiting Chicago and we randomly found this place, the Carne Asada tacos and Mexican rice are both absolutely delicious I’m so obsessed. The guacamole was extremely fresh as well. We also tried the chicken burrito which was really good and I don’t usually like burritos. We had to come here twice because of how good it is. Good service as we’ll, food comes out exactly like you order.

I ordered “The Undefeated” super burrito and felt defeated the second I opened the aluminum foil it was encased it.
This was hands down THE most sad and unsatisfying burrito I’ve had in my life. The queso was runny, the lettuce wilted, and lastly while the chicken was good – clearly inflation is doing a number on Big Wig tacos because I was given maybe 2 tablespoons of chicken if that.
Run – don’t walk away from Big Wig Tacos and to your nearest Chipotle for better service, better ingredients, and a better quality of life.

I recently tried this place and some really good tacos and added guacamole on top, which was amazing! I also got a side of queso and chips that paired perfectly. The service was fast and friendly, and the open windows made for a nice view while I ate. Definitely recommend this place!

HUGE portions, really tasty. The honey chipotle and the cilantro lime were too cold for me to register their taste so in my opinion they’re not worth the extra charge, but will come back.
EDIT: I have been back several times, the creaminess of the cliantro lime sauce is worth it. Amazing food

Heard about this place through someone else and LITERALLY walked over a mile in the freezing rain just to get it and it was 1000% worth it. Food was so fresh and so good!! We had 3 of us and a feast at the table. I got 3 Chorizo tacos, then we had a steak bowl, and steak tacos all to die for. Also got 1 of each of their dipping sauces. All so good. Then topped it off with 3 Brookie cookies. Mm mm mmmm. Literally ended the night eating here and will absolutely come back next time we’re in town. 10/10 recommend!!
