Hip locally owned taco spot, located in the Uptown 23rd district. We’ve been Truckin’ since 2009 from our many taco trucks and restaurant. We serve breakfast plates like Migas and Huevos Rancheros’ along with our breakfast tacos and burrito, 7 days a week from open until 11am. We have a wide variety of tacos, burritos, and other dishes for lunch and dinner. We serve brunch Saturday and Sunday from open until 3pm. Feeling adventurous? Try our 5th amendment taco! What is it? We plead the 5th! Its a chef choice taco that changes daily. We serve a variety on bottled Jarritos, Topo chico and Mexican coke. We now offer a selection of mixed cocktails in addition to our beer selection.

Been here many of times for dinner, never any problems. Decided to try their breakfast with an horchata iced coffee, a hispanic young lady by the name of Lilly took my order. I ordered the horchata iced coffee, with light ice, it was cold outside. When I received my coffee it was 3/4 from the top, I felt like a kid. I asked why it wasn’t topped off, she said she had to adjust it because I’d asked for light ice, granted only one size is avaliable. Great way to loose customers!

You should know that the cup of horchata iced coffee is no bigger than 10oz. Not sure where you getting 16oz? I literally had 4 drinks, also why I needed water as seen in the picture. Most owners make things right or at least attempt. Be assured I will no longer be a patron of your establishment. Seems you have gotten to big to care about customers.

I went there for lunch on a Sunday. They don’t have a lot of indoor space, but there were some places to sit. There are more places to sit outside, but it was too chilly and windy for that. My order was taken quickly by a polite and helpful young lady. I ordered a Fried Shrimp Taco and Beef Al Carbon Taco. Both were very generously filled. The Fried Shrimp taco was excellent, but it had so much sauce that I was glad I wasn’t on a date because it was a mess to eat. The Beef Al Carbon was OK. It was dripping with grease and overly seasoned with spice. I will eat there again, but I’ll skip the Beef Al Carbon next time.

I have always had great experiences here with the food and service until today. We went through and asked to try a couple of the sauces with our meal and the person handing the food out of the window took at least 15-20 seconds pondering our request and whether they were going to give us any sauces or not. When they rolled their eyes back, we were prompted to just say nevermind on receiving any condiments, which then prompted them to grab them. It was a painfully awkward experience at one of my favorite eateries in OKC.

Pros: food was on point, salad was even good, well put together and good portions. Cool atmosphere as well
Cons: place has limited seating due to size, all sodas were out, so if you liked a mess of carbonation this is the place for you.

If you haven’t tried it, you’ve missed it. I love their breakfast bowls. I love the vegan options. It is airways hard to choose my flavor for the day as so many of the tacos are yummy. Always try the 5th Amendment .
