The owners of this location, specifically the woman, is EXTREMELY rude. They must be making a ton of money, because they chose to refuse service to 30 maskless shoppers today. She then proceeded to call security to request that the shoppers be trespassed from the mall entirely. It is a business’s right to refuse service. It is also our right to share negative experiences and to take our money elsewhere. Please support businesses that support freedom. This business does not.
With that said, Big Town Hero has great food. It is also a franchise. THIS location’s poor service and decisions should not be a reflection on ALL Big Town Hero locations. If you want a Big Town sub, choose a location other than Albany.

The employees that work at this Big Town hero are absolutely wonderful. There’s a couple guys that are there all the time. There’s a couple ladies I’ve seen different but everyone has been super nice and it’s so nice to see younger people working for a living competent. Nice respectful. It’s rarity that you find all in one place whoever the particular owner is of this big town. You have done very well. Your employees are awesome. I only selected the fewest sandwiches cuz I’m a person that kind of likes to eat the same thing when I find something delightful. That’s what I want to have but everything they do is really good. Their food is delicious

Big town is by far one the best sandwich place around! I honestly don’t think I have been to another that has had a better sandwich. The bread is Always fresh, which to me is a big deal. Other places bread can be stale and dry and chewy. I could eat just the bread from big town every day. The customer service is always on point with friendly and helpful staff. I’m always greeted with a smile and my food is made very fast. Even when they are busy, I get my food in a timely manner. Its always nice when I can call ahead and ask for a sandwich and all I have to do it come in and pick it up. I always recommend Big Town and am glad to support a locally owned business.

Ordered a sandwich, watch the staff making the sandwiches touch the counter and wipe down other surfaces a bunch of times with the same gloves, then touch my sandwich. My sandwich was made very messy. Returned it for a refund and got a lot of attitude by the older lady at the cash register. Clearly they think that they’re sandwiches are superior and honestly they’re not great.

You’ll notice that the only negative reviews are from people who refused to wear a mask. Restaurants have no choice or say in the states mask mandates, they have to follow or receive steep fines. I get it, we are all sick of wearing masks, but that’s no reason to slam a business with fake bad reviews. We like the sandwiches here. Prefer their bread to subways. Wish we had one in my town, but enjoy stopping in when in the area.

There was somebody on register. Person looks pretty young with raccoon eyeliner and wearing a beanie. They were really rude and not very polite when taking the order and kept looking at her phone, checking it and sitting there I had to wait three minutes before they got off their phone and realize that I was standing at the counter, I took some time thinking about writing this, but this is not the first time this has happened Super rude wouldn’t go there again
