Came in for a early mid week lunch. I was one of the first people there so it was empty. Location is in old strip center. The other great Philly place, Fred’s is across the street. There is much to the place inside. Maybe seats 20 people. The decor is old Philly related stuff that is probably the same from day one. You order at the counter. I got the Broad Street cheesesteak which has steak, mushrooms, banana peppers, onions, and cheese. I added whiz. Tasty sandwich and pretty good portion. Bread is brought in from Philly so it’s authentic. They have a steak sauce and ranch if you want them. I tasted the ranch which was really dood but didn’t put it on my steak. I did dip into the steak sauce occasionally which was good. Steak was tender and toppings grilled well. In the end you have two great cheesesteak places within a hundred yards of each other. I personally lean to Fred’s. I think the steak is slightly better and it’s more comfortable inside. Either way both these places make some great food.

Came into the place got a number 4 and tried to do half onions and peppers and was told yall don’t do that. Secondly asked for the onions and bell peppers to be put on the side as you can see they was put on the sandwich.. The guy who took our order acted like he did nit want to ve at work today. Onions and peppers all on the sandwich yet it was suppose to be on the side

I’m going to start by saying that I was kind of nervous about this place. It’s a little sketch looking… tbh. But when I went in, I had an excellent conversation with a young lady named Tayler that explained the menu to me, and checked to make sure my sandwich was correct. Liz was incredible, as well, and these two were so much fun. The food was great and I will definitely be back.

Now, it’s been quite some time since I’ve been in Philly, but I’m gonna say that Big Tony’s is the closest to the real thing I’ve found outside of Jim’s in Philly itself. There’s some good cheesesteak places around Dallas, but this one is really special. The bread is soft but slightly chewy, and the way it absorbs the steak and cheese to create that magical texture on the bottom of the sandwich.

And the amount of items on the menu here, wow! You could go here for a month straight and get a different variation each time. And they have burgers too! I’ll definitely be back.

My wife and I stopped in, and we’re not disappointed. Fast service. Friendly service. The food was hot and fresh. It seemed like the phone never stopped ringing from all the to go orders. Not to mention all the door dash drivers that kept coming and going.

I wanted to take a pic of the cheesesteaks that they made vs what they advertise but I couldn’t find much meat until I opened up the soggy tasteless bread. HEB is down the street and charges only .50 cents for freshly made rolls that are 12”. I moved from Philly and this place is a disgrace to Philly. The regular size sandwiches are 8”-8.5” and yes I measured. That’s a kiddy size and me being 145 pounds could easily eat two. Lol. Who serves prepackaged marinara sauce with mozzarella sticks? The hoagie is also small however at least you could actually see the meat in the hoagie without opening the sandwich. Waste of money.

Small establishment, close seating. Service isn’t horrible, they do tend to customers without a doubt. Pricing doesn’t really go with portions. I ordered the #9 which is the pizza cheese steak and there was nothing pizza about the sub. It was basically meat, tomotato sauce onions and green peppers. No mozzarella as stated, more bread than anything.

Very delicious and delectable shrimp po boy sandwich I added extra shrimp with delectable sweet potatoes fries. Service was nice. Kinda busy which means the place is solid. I’ve been here like 2/3 times and tried the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It was good but didn’t put enough meat to fill me up. So I guess you want to order more food if you wanna get full. Prices are up there for a joint in Allen I’ll tell you that much. Would be back to try more menu items.
