I used to frequently drive past Big Tommy’s Parthenon, until my wife and I wanted a place we’d never been to before. For years, we were missing out! Big Tommy’s menu is not only extensive, but the Greek cuisine is top notch (specifically the lamb dishes)!! I always ask for the waiter named Ceasar. He’s very knowledgeable and helpful if you’re not quite sure what to order. The decor is very nice and welcoming, and they have live comedy shows down in the lower level!!! Folks don’t miss out for years like I did before I finally went there, treat yourself……

Have ordered their food from Door Dash, & it was great!! But dining there is not to be missed!! We went for New Years Eve. We had a Reservation. Of course they were packed, but I was amazed at how smoothly things moved! We were seated immediately, and given water. Our Server greeted us in mere minutes. Of course we started with Saganaki, which set the mood for the evening! My son ordered the grilled Lamb Chops & I ordered the Greek Trio. The entire meal was off the hook DELICIOUS! And it was hands down, one of my top 5 Dining Experiences! I got some Baklava to go. It was perfection! I fully intend to return to work my way through their fahbulous Menu!! Yamas! Opa! ✨️

This is the best Greek food In Michigan period!!! It’s the little things that make this place stand out. First they have the freshest beets, tomatos and feta cheese. Brought the family to enjoy the Thanksgiving buffet today. The food was delicious and there were plenty of choices to cover each guest with their unique dietary restrictions. My only complaint was that when we received the bill my son noticed about a 22% gratuity added to the bill. There were only four of us. I almost tipped 52% not seeing that charge already added. I believe it should have been clearly posted or we should have been notified before or when receiving the bill. I also realized after leaving that my child was billed as an adult. While those two things are disappointing, the food is very high quality. It would be wonderful if they offered this buffet again at Christmas time.

It’s been years since our last visit to Big Tommy’s and I’m mad at myself for waiting so long to come back. This place is a gem.
Our server, Non-Greek Nick (though he could easily pass as Greek any day of the week), was nothing short of phenomenal. Polite, attentive, quick with a smile, and completely unfazed by special requests. Zeus himself would’ve welcomed Nick into Olympus after this service.
The food? Out of this world. Hot, fresh, and absolutely bursting with flavor. And the dessert… that baklava gelato must have been crafted by Dionysus himself.
I ordered the Macaronada (Greek pasta with burnt butter and Mizithra cheese) but asked if lamb could be added. Without hesitation, Nick checked with the owner and came back with the most refreshing answer: “He’d be happy to add that, would you like one or two lamb shoulders?” That’s not just service, that’s hospitality at its finest. The lamb shoulder was enormous (double the size of what my photo shows, I couldn’t resist diving in before snapping a picture). And the pairing? Divine.
The atmosphere is upscale, spotless, and welcoming. It’s the kind of place you can bring family, linger over your meal, and actually feel like you’ve been welcomed into the family.
Tommy – do us all a favor and just make it official. Add the lamb shoulder option to the Macaronada and call it “The Scotticus.”

Food and service were great, but their comedian was making fun of the recent bombings in Iran, mocking the LGBTQ community, and making fun of Epstein survivors. We left after about 15 minutes of his set. We will not be recommending this establishment, will not be returning.

I was there to celebrate a birthday. There were 15 of us in the party. Our table was ready to go when we got there, the waiter (Aaron?) was really nice, funny, and friendly! The service was pretty quick for the time of day we went and how busy it got. Food is delicious! Drinks upstairs in the restaurant were really good, but the ones down in the Comedy Club weren’t nearly as good, in my opinion. Food prices are definitely on the higher end, with a main course, an additional side, 2 drinks, and a dessert, I paid close to $75.
The Comedy Show was quite funny! They had three comedians; two warm-ups and the headliner. All three were enjoyable to watch, but I liked the headliner best.
Overall, it was a really good place, and several of us have already talked about going back.

My husband and I expected to have a nice dinner for Valentines Day. They offered a dinner for two special.. We waited for 2 hours for the food to come out only to be burnt and dry. We spoke with the manager, and it didn’t seam to bother her when we complained. I post a picture of the food I received. We spent $80.00 for something that wasn’t fit to eat. I ask for a box to take home to my dog. Then, I decided to share my experiences. The way it looks in the box is the way it came to our table on the plate. This is supposed to be a bone in Filet Mignon.
I just read your response to my complaint. We absolutely waited two hours. I really wish I could have gotten the couple with the two kids that was there before us. Who had an even longer wait. The probably didn’t complain because like us the will Never return to your restaurant. Not everyone write reviews, they just stop coming. Instead of calling me a liar, you should have apologized and left it at that. I have no reason to lie. So I will post your response along with the picture I sent you, on Facebook and Instagram.

Food tasted as expected but it did seem like it was either reheated or kept warm for too long. The fact that they have taramasalata makes up for the bar type atmosphere. Love that stuff with some warm pita.
