One of my favorite bbq restaurants! Promise it will exceed your expectations. We are often greeted with warm and friendly service from the owners themselves. It’s clear that they have a true passion for what they do, and it reflects in every aspect of the restaurant.

Very delicious BBQ, we ordered the combo plate, Texas Reuben, Burnt ends, corn bread and a few Irish stouts.

My first time at the Big Stick BBQ. Absolutely phenomenal the best sliders and burnt ends I have ever had. The taste is traditional but with a depth of amazing complex flavors. Just describing their food makes my mouth water. Definitely coming back

This us my go-to place when visiting Bellingham. The best pork belly smoke ends I have had. The brisket, ribs, and corn bread were great as well. I like that the brisket and ribs are not too sweet like those covered with BBQ sauce in other places. The staff was very friendly and they seem very proud of their BBQ!

Probably one of the best BBQ spots I’ve eaten in a long time especially here in the PNW. Now, I’m not a huge BBQ enthusiast but I will go all out when I do, and today I did just that. So, I ordered the combo for 4 which is about and as you can see from the picture, it does feed a family of 4 or more. I was just really hungry that’s all and I even told the lady that I would take whatever leftover home. This was also my first time eating Memphis style, as dry rubs and vinegar are the biggest differences from other styles of BBQ, at least to my knowledge. The brisket was on point, as it should be…..juicy, a bit fatty, and overall tender. The pulled pork was also great. Not overly salty or seasoned, just the right amount. I think the biggest surprise was their ribs. It had just the right amount of rub and seasoning, but it was how tender and succulent it was that got me. It wasn’t falling off the bone tender, which was fine because I don’t want to have to pick up the meat or eat it with my fork. This is an all hands meal with the exception of the sides. The meats were all cooked at the right sweet spot. Speaking of sides, I had the slaw and beans, which I wasn’t too fond of. It was the flavor profile that I just wasn’t used to. The slaw had this tangy aftertaste and I think it was one of the vegetables used in it that gave it that flavor? The beans were initially fine, but then the vinegar taste started to settle and I didn’t like it much after a few bites. I should have opted to switch out the sides for others. My friend who had mac and cheese as a side said it was really really good. Overall, the food was great. I will definitely come back to try out their burger specials and pork belly burnt ends, which from what I hear is one of the best things to try.

Best bbq I’ve had so far but my experience is limited to 3 places around Vancouver. Love the smokey flavour. Getting in the car after lunch, I smell like something is burning, only to realize it’s the smoke infused into our body mind and soul.

Simple storefront location in a semi industrial area, but appearances are deceiving. It’s worth seeking this place out.

The best brisket barbecue ever. Tried the black eyed pea salad tonight for the first time and it is delicious.

I don’t usually enjoy BBQ mainly because the options with meat are very few. A lot of the food is pork, the brisket being the only exception. A Dirty Mac with Brisket almost felt dehydrating, especially since they don’t do refills (probably the rules of the place so it’s not their fault). I would recommend adding pickles to it, it adds in some water and it tastes great (in my opinion). Their barbecue is sweet but they do offer a spicy version. The menu was slightly confusing unless you are observant, the prices are the numbers beside the food you want to order. The tables have a patting or something that makes sure things don’t slide but it made playing cards difficult. I found the place to be cool, especially since you can get a clear view of their over in the corner that fits in well with the color scheme of the place. I was there too early to see a lot of people but it looked like a great area to gather with your friends. It’s unfortunately not all that differentiated from the buildings surrounding it and the the front faces the warehouses so you’ll likely end up passing it by if you don’t already know about it.

Service was top notch! Sliders were amazing! The ribs were great, only thing keeping them from a 5 star was only our preference to having more of a “fall off the bone” experience. However, flavor was delicious ! Will definitely return.
