This was a great drive bar with excellent food! We got there on taco Tuesday and the homemade tacos were $2.50. (Delicious) You could get a cheeseburger with two wings with the wings being only $1.50 add on! The wings were spot on nice and meaty. Karen our cook and bartender was very pleased and excited to have us! Visit if dive bars and delicious food is your thing!!!

If you’ve never been to Big Springs Saloon, let me warn you now—this place operates under its own set of rules. It ain’t just a bar; it’s a phenomenon.
One night, I walked in and saw a cowboy arm-wrestling a raccoon. Not just any raccoon—this thing was wearing a tiny leather vest and had a toothpick hanging out its mouth. The stakes? A full bottle of bourbon and the deed to an abandoned gold mine. The raccoon won. Fair and square.
Another time, a guy at the bar bet he could drink a whole pitcher of beer in under ten seconds. The bartender, a fella with an eye patch and a mustache that looked way too intelligent, nodded and poured him a pitcher. Just as the guy tilted it back, the beer levitated out of the glass, spun in midair, and poured itself back into the tap. The whole bar went silent. The bartender just wiped the counter and said, “House rules.”
And don’t even get me started on the jukebox. You don’t pick the music—the music picks you. One night, I sat down after a long day, and without anyone touching it, the jukebox started playing my childhood piano recital. A performance I had never recorded.
