We had an amazing dinner last night at this new Bar. I have visited their location in Bellefonte many times and am so happy to see them at downtown State College. Our bartender was amazing, & the food was delicious. Great atmosphere and may be my new favorite for downtown dining. We ordered the Charcuterie Board, which was plentiful and did not disappoint. then Cowboy Corn Fritters. To finish, we had the Beef Sliders with Sidewinders. The food was amazing. For drinks, I had a vodka sparkling water & a vodka martini. All were made with their house spirits and were just how I like them! My significant other ordered their Spiced Cider & then a spiced rum & coke. Everything was perfect!

Really great! Have always enjoyed the Bellefonte location, this is smaller and more intimate but very similar atmosphere and of course great drinks. The food done by The Scholar was great, too! They have a bigger menu than I was expecting and a variety of options so it is not just “bar food”. Very impressed, will definitely be frequenting often!

We have stayed at this hotel for years. Since Big Spring took over the service is horrible and the staff is extremely rude. The tabs are always wrong and they are never friendly. It was better before.

On a normal weekend, this seems like it would be a nice tranquil environment to escape the downtown chaos. However, they seemed very ill prepared for Whiteout Weekend following their opening. Took 20 minutes to take our simple drink order, and then they were unable to find our table and gave up our drinks to other bar patrons. Disappointing, seems like they could use additional staff.

Since the changing of hands and partnering with Big Spring, this place has really improved. The cocktails are excellent and at very reasonable prices for the area. My bartender did forget to put bourbon in my old fashioned, so be wary of that! He remembered shortly after handing it to me so no harm, no foul.

Great new place! The service is awesome and they make some pretty amazing drinks! Decent bar menu too! Hilton Hotel on one side and parking garage on the other! It doesn’t get any better than that!

Came here with my family after graduation and it was awesome. The people that work here are so patient and friendly. The happy hour is fantastic and the food is pretty good! They have a lot of appetizers but they’re large portion and great value.
