Slow service – average food. It took 1 hour for our table of 8 to get our meals. Dinners do not include a salad or vegetable. The beef tips had thin brothy gravy served over spaghetti noodles. The salads shown were the main course for those friends. The room we were in had no atmosphere. Underwhelmed.

We just had a fish fry here and had Connie as our server. She was fantastic. So friendly and warm and welcoming. We had the burnt ends appetizer which was delicious. The fish fry was hot and fresh but was a pretty basic fish fry. The food was good but we will definitely be back in hopes to have Connie again!

I thoroughly enjoyed our handmade onion strings. Spicy and well seasoned but not too hot for our friends not a fan of “heat”. Honestly best I’ve ever had. We were a group of 4 and there at lunchtime 12 noon.Service was spectacular. My only suggestion was to have someone welcome you in. We walked through the bar eating area that was closed to get to our table. (Seat yourself) The rustic decor goes very well with the area. Our group ordered various burgers, and a flat bread pizza. You must try their potato pancake side, delicious! The burgers wee cooked perfectly and everything was very fresh and seasoned well!

We have been coming here for a few years now. The Fish Fry is excellent! Cod, Perch, Bluegill the fries and homemade Tartar Sauce are all delicious.
The only reason for the 4 stars is that you can end up waiting for quite a long time, especially when your party is 6 or more people. They simply don’t have enough bigger tables to accommodate larger groups.
Atmosphere is solid too.

This is a great local restaurant/bar. The people were friendly, even though I wasn’t a regular. We ate at the bar, the bartender was nice, with a little sass.
I had the Rib Special. Everything about it was good, the ribs fell off the bone, pretty good BBQ flavor.
I will definitely go back.
